Fortnite Map Could Get Big Changes During the Tuesday Event

Season 7 of Fortnite Battle Royale will soon enter its third week. So far, the season has been very fun, although Epic Games could make it even better. It appears that there are many exciting things waiting for players this season, such as the event on Tuesday, June 22.

According to leakers, this will be a summer event that will bring new things to the game. Most importantly, the game developer may bring some big map changes with the event as well. While there is no official confirmation regarding these Fortnite map changes, it will be exciting to attend the event and see if they happen.

The event could cause Coral Castle to disappear

Fortnite Battle Royale leakers have revealed that Coral Castle will be removed from the map this season. According to them, it will have something to do with alien abduction. Considering that this is one of the least popular places on the map, removing it would make a lot of sense.

Coral Castle was primarily added for Season 3 of the second chapter due to the Aquaman collaboration. However, ever since the season ended, this place has been extremely unpopular. Players rarely land there and visiting it is also risky as it’s surrounded by hills.

The upcoming Fortnite event will take place at Believer Beach. The beach is located right next to Coral Castle and there is a theory that the unpopular area will be removed when the event starts. Players are hoping that this will be the case as it would make the northwest corner of the island a much better place. At the moment, it is simply not worth going that far and spending a few minutes running to the safe zone.

The summer event will bring new content to the game

Whether or not Fortnite gets map changes, the upcoming summer event will bring new content to the game. There will be a new NPC, new quests, and players will most likely be able to earn cosmetic items for free.

The Cosmic Summer Celebration event starts on Tuesday, June 22, at 9 AM Eastern Time. According to Epic, it will last for two weeks, giving everyone enough time to experience it.

Epic Games will most likely release the v17.10 update before the event. However, the update will probably come out a few hours earlier, around 4 AM Eastern Time. Make sure to download the new patch before logging in and joining the summer party!
