Fortnite Nintendo Switch Double Helix Bundle Announced, Available for Pre-Order Right Now
A Fortnite Nintendo Switch Double Helix bundle has been announced by Epic Games and Nintendo of America. The bundle includes a ton of Fortnite-themed items bundled together in one package with the blue and red Joy-Con Nintendo Switch console. All of it is available together for the normal price of a console, $299.99, and it is available for pre-order right now.
The Fortnite Nintendo Switch Double Helix bundle launches in just a couple of weeks on October 5, 2018. Unfortunately, the bundle seems to be the standard red and blue Joy-Con console so no sweet exclusive Fortnite-themed dock and system such is the case with the Pokemon one. However, it does contain some awesome free goodies that make it worth getting if you don’t already have a Switch.
The Fortnite Nintendo Switch Double Helix bundle comes with the standard red and blue Joy-Con system and everything that comes with that. In addition, it has a full game download of Fortnite included with it, 1,000 V-Bucks for free, and the Double Helix set that comes with a pickaxe, paraglider, and outfit.
It’s worth noting that Fortnite is already free-to-play on Nintendo Switch so it is possible this is the full paid game that includes the Save the World PvE mode. If so, that makes this already a bargain. You’re also getting 1,000 V-Bucks, which are normally worth $10 and a full set of cosmetic items that are going to worth a good chunk of change on their own.
All in all, the Fortnite Nintendo Switch Double Helix bundle is a fantastic deal if you don’t already own a Switch and are interested in playing some Battle Royale on the go. However, it isn’t the only Switch bundle that is coming soon. The Pokemon Let’s Go games are getting one as well as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate later this year.
