Fortnite Season 4 just rolled around and brought with it a selection of new challenges and goodies along with it. The map also changed in a big way, but now the mysterious meteors we were following have all but disappeared. With that in mind, we’re all waiting for the next big thing to come about. What could that be? AS it turns out, it looks like there’s a leak floating around that has a glut of information about what’s coming up next week for Week 2’s set of new challenges for the Fortnite Battle Pass.
There’s a very interesting asset that you can see above found when looking around in the Fortnite game files. It’s a loading screen that depicts the character Omega breaking out of prison while everyone’s still worried about all the meteors crashing into the ground. You can surmise from the image that you’ll be able to upgrade Omega, which will be a big part of the challenges next week, apparently.
The image is titled “At last, I am free” with the line “I will reclaim my power. I will gather my allies. I will have my vengeance.” There isn’t a lot to go on in terms of what this all means for the game’s meta-narrative, but it makes us wonder what kind of turn could be coming in the future on top of all the new goodies we’ve already seen. No one knows exactly what Epic Games has up their sleeve.
If you’re wondering what you can get up to in Season 4’s Week 1 Challenges right now, we’ve got a handy list to what you can do to both rack up tiers and XP…until next week, when this bad boy drops, at least. It looks like it’s going to be pretty crazy.
