Been enjoying the free games through PS Plus this month? Right now, subscribers are playing Sonic Mania and Borderlands: The Handsome Collection on PS4. While most of June is still ahead of us, it’s never too soon to start thinking about what the PlayStation Plus July 2019 free games might be. Check out our predictions below!
1. Unravel
One interesting upcoming game slated for release on July 5 is Sea of Solitude, published by EA for PS4, Xbox One and PC. So perhaps another game published by EA will be offered for free through PS Plus next month.
There are numerous possible candidates, but one idea might be to feature Unravel. This puzzle platform game came out in 2016 on all major platforms, and allowed players to control a yarn-critter named Yarny. The innovative title has not yet been featured for free on PS Plus, so it would be a good choice.
2. Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2
Another option for an EA-published game worth featuring for free through PS Plus in July would be Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2. This third-person shooter released in 2016, and was a sequel to the original game by the same name. In fact, the original game was free through PlayStation Plus in 2011, but the sequel never was featured. So it is about time subscribers get to play it for free.
3. Dragon Quest Builders
Also on the list of upcoming releases for July is Dragon Quest Builders 2. The sequel to the original Dragon Quest Builders will release on July 12th on PS4 and Switch. The 2016 original released for PS4, PS3, Vita and Switch. It has never been featured for free through PS Plus before, so this would be a great time to make it happen.
4. Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus
By far one of the biggest upcoming releases in July is Wolfenstein: Youngblood. This highly anticipated game will release on July 26th on all major platforms. If we are lucky, maybe we will get to play Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus from 2017 for free through PS Plus to celebrate the forthcoming addition to the series.
