Now that Fortnite is getting…”vehicles”…players now have a different (if much sillier way) to get around the map during games. The Fortnite shopping cart is the game’s first vehicle, but how are you expected to find one in a game? Thankfully, we’ve got information that will make grabbing a cart much easier.
A Fortnite shopping cart is a rather odd vehicle; it’s definitely a team effort, because in order to move it at all you have to have someone pushing you; it’s not like you can do it Flintstones-style after all. But if you do get into a team game and want to find a shopping cart for someone to push you around in, we have some information on where you can go to find a shopping cart.
Shopping carts don’t spawn like other examples of normal loot in the game. You instead have to run around and find them, but thankfully they’re mostly in places where you would expect shopping carts to be. This includes places like parking lots at Retail Row, Greasy Grove, and Tilted Towers. However, you can also find some at the race track to the north of Moisty Mire, so feel free to check there as well.
All of the Fortnite shopping cart locations are somewhat randomized in where the carts actually are, so you’ll likely have to look around a bit before you can actually find one. Moisty Mire in particular is a good location, because there are four different shopping carts all located near the starting line on the Western side, so now the location has a draw beyond being a somewhat safe place to drop that has a few chests and weapons.
While it’s probably not the best idea to try and have a race with your friends in an actual Battle Royale game, the upcoming Playground mode is sure to be a much better option, especially since if anyone ends up killing you you’ll just respawn.
