As part of its June content roadmap, Hitman 2 is getting a new Bank location on June 25. This new Bank location will feature its own sandbox environment, story mission, challenge series, and more. It will also include a brand new 15-level Mastery progression track, with each level gained unlocking a new reward. In a recent blog post, developer Io Interactive revealed what those new Mastery rewards will be.
Hitman 2 The Bank Mastery Unlocks
Io has been slowly updating this dedicated Hitman 2 Bank location page on its website throughout the month. Recently, the studio outlined all 15 levels of the Bank location’s unique Mastery rewards track. As with other locations, players will earn Bank Mastery levels by completing location-specific challenges and missions. Each Mastery level also comes with a corresponding reward.
Some of the new Mastery rewards are specifically tied to the Bank location. These rewards include new starting points and stash locations which help players complete trickier challenges. There are also item unlocks which, once obtained, are usable in any of Hitman 2’s locations. The item unlocks (and their associated Mastery ranks) are as follows:
- Small Gold Bar (Mastery level 2): A heavy gold bar which can be used for both up-close and ranged non-lethal takedowns.
- ICA Remote Flash Device (Mastery level 5): An explosive device which can be placed and then detonated remotely. When detonated, it emits a non-lethal flash which disorients all nearby NPC’s.
- Customized Bartoli 12-Gauge Shotgun (Mastery level 10): A lethal pump-action shotgun that’s perfect for taking out targets up-close and personal.
- (Name Redacted) with Gloves Suit (Mastery level 15): A double-breasted trenchcoat that’s straight out of an old-timey spy thriller or detective novel. Agent 47’s default Bank location outfit will be a no-gloves version of this suit. The Mastery unlock version with gloves is usable in any location.
Hitman 2’s Bank location will be available on June 25 for those who own the game’s Expansion Pass. If a player purchases the game’s Expansion Pack 1 standalone, they’ll also receive access to the Bank.
