Io Interactive has some big plans for Hitman 2 during the month of December. In a recent roadmap blog post, the studio detailed what those plans are and when fans can expect them. The month of December includes two new Escalation Contracts, new Featured Contracts, a holiday surprise, and the second Elusive Target.
Hitman 2 December Roadmap
Several new Hitman 2 features are going live throughout the month of December. Perhaps the most exciting of the bunch is the game’s second Elusive Target. For now, little is known about the second target other than their codename (“The Revolutionary’) and their location (Santa Fortuna). However, Io says it will share more details closer to the target’s December 21 arrival.
In the meantime, Hitman 2 players can enjoy the other new features and contracts coming to the game in December. Here’s hoping the holiday surprise takes a similar form as the previous Hitman’s excellent Home Alone-inspired holiday mission. Upcoming Hitman 2 Additions
- Occupational Hazards Featured Contracts (Dec. 6) – All Featured Contracts are created by members of the community and then added to the game for all players to enjoy. For Hitman 2, we will pick our Featured Contracts based on themes – and the first is ‘Occupational Hazards’, as all contracts are focused on jobs, occupations and professions.
- The Alewin Augment Escalation Contract (Dec. 13) – Escalation Contracts focus on your skills as Agent 47 and how you can adapt your playstyles to the various complications that we can throw your way. Escalations are not necessarily about immersion, but definitely give you a gameplay challenge. Our second Escalation Contract (we’ve already released one in Santa Fortuna!) takes you to Isle of Sgail and we think it’ll be a memorable visit.
- A holiday surprise! (Dec. 18) – Stay tuned for a time-limited, Christmas-themed surprise coming later this month.
- The Revolutionary Elusive Target (Dec. 21) – A new Elusive Target will arrive in Santa Fortuna for 10 days and you’ll be able to unlock the Casual Tourist with gloves suit if you manage to complete it.
- The Turms Infatuation Escalation Contract (Dec. 27) – We wrap up the month (pun intended) with an Escalation in Santa Fortuna. Enjoy!
