They include bouts like the Falls Count Anywhere, Last Man Standing, and Retirement matches. One other serious stipulation match sometimes seen within WWE is the Hair vs. Hair match. What is the WWE 2K19 Hair vs. Hair match?
A hair vs. hair match is just what one might expect. The two competitors involved are not only putting their pride on the line but also their full head of hair. A loss in the match results in the losing competitor having to have their head completely shaved. Sometimes it happens immediately after the match. The resulting humiliation is something the losing competitor endures for weeks after the match too.
Over the years, there have been a number of hair vs. hair matches in the WWF/WWE. One of the earliest of these matches in the history of WWF/E came during WrestleMania III in 1987. Rowdy Roddy Piper defeated Adrian Adonis in a match, forcing Adonis to have to go bald. Several years later, Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake got a big win on Saturday Night’s Main Event over Outlaw Ron Bass. The result, was a shaved head for Bass.
Other hair vs. hair matches over the WWE’s history included Victoria defeating Molly Holly, Chris Jericho defeating Kevin Nash, and Eugene defeating Eric Bischoff. At WrestleMania 23, Bobby Lashley defeated Umaga. However, each competitor was a representative with their hair on the line. In the case of Umaga, it was none other than Vince McMahon, while Donald Trump was paired with Lashley.
How to unlock WWE 2K19 Hair vs. Hair match
There is actually a WWE 2K19 Hair vs. Hair match available in the game. However, this particular match has to be unlocked. You’ll need to enter a special locker code in order to unlock the match and be able to play it out. All of the steps are laid out below for how to bring the match into the game.
- Head to the Options area on the main menu.
- Scroll down to choose “Locker Code.”
- Type in the following code: YSMNRYAYTYHMMC
- Press the Options button on your controller to enter the code.
- Head to the Options area on the main menu.
After a few seconds, you’ll see a confirmation screen. It confirms that you’ve enabled the Hair vs. Hair match. It’s only available in Exhibition Mode to play, though. Even so, it adds another fun match to WWE 2K19 that you can try out with various superstars from past and present eras.
To use this match, go to the Play menu and choose “One on One.” Scroll down to where you can choose Hair vs. Hair and select it. You can select any two superstars to face off in the match.
