The brand new WWE 2K19 video game has arrived for many gamers in the form of exclusive editions. Others will be receiving their standard copies next week. For those who have the game or will have it, it’s a good idea to know how to unlock WWE 2K19 unlockables in the game. Gamers can get those unlockables in several ways too, so here’s a guide on how to get them for PS4 or Xbox One.
What are the WWE 2K19 unlockables?
The unlockables are extensive for the new title. They include additional WWE 2K19 roster members, arenas, gear, and title belts. There are 64 total unlockable legends including stars like The Rock, Stone Cold Steve Austin, Shawn Michaels, Lita, Trish Stratus, and The Undertaker. Prices for these characters range from 3,000 Virtual Currency (VC) on the low end to 8,000 VC on the high-end (for 91′ attire version of The Undertaker).
In addition to the legends, there are unlockables such as six special arenas. The classic arenas include the Raw Is War ’98, SmackDown ’00, WCW Halloween Havoc ’98, and WrestleMania 33. These each cost about 1,000 VC.
There are also 34 unlockable championship belts within WWE 2K19. These include customized WWE title belts that The Rock, Stone Cold, and John Cena had during various title reigns. In addition, there is the Million Dollar Belt, the retired WWE Divas Championship, European Championship, ECW Championships, and many more. These all cost 300 VC.
How to get WWE 2K19 unlockables?
The Ric Flair Wooooo! Collector’s Edition of the new game, as well as the Deluxe Edition, arrived as of Friday, October 5th. Inside both of these boxes, players can find all the “Season Pass” codes they need to unlock everything. That’s part of the reason buying these versions “pays off” in a way.
Other gamers will receive or buy standard copies next Tuesday, October 9th. For how to get WWE 2K19 unlockables in the standard versions, it will require one of two steps. Both of these require using the WWE 2K store that’s built into the game.

- Gamers can buy unlockables at the store.
The first option requires defeating various modes or tasks within the game. Doing this will unlock certain characters, arenas, or belts.
Gamers can find the in-game Store to buy unlockables on PS4 or Xbox One by scrolling all the way to the right at the top menu screen. It should appear next to “Options.”
Alternately, gamers can find the store by going to the WWE 2K19 game on their console’s main screen and moving down to the final option “Store.”
That means it will take either time or money to get those WWE 2K19 unlockables. The Virtual Currency is the way to go, though, as it allows for picking up just what a gamer wants, such as a specific character or arena.

There’s also the option to buy and download a $5 accelerator for WWE 2K19. Purchasing this add-on allows gamers to go into the game and unlock everything. Here’s how:
- Purchase $5 WWE 2K19 Accelerator Add-On
- Launch WWE 2K19 game.
- Scroll all the way to right on the menu to choose “Store.”
- On the PS4 controller, press the square button.
- On the Xbox One controller, press the X button.
- A pop-up message will ask for confirmation of unlocking all of the superstars, attires, arenas, and championships.
- Choose “Yes” and everything is now unlocked.
So it really comes down to how badly a gamer wants all of the unlockable characters. Spending a good amount of time to get specific characters or other items in the game isn’t necessarily a bad way to get that “hard-earned” virtual currency!
