How to Use the Pokeball Plus in Pokemon Let’s GO

Pokemon Let’s GO might not be the classic pokemon game we’ve all been waiting for but it is more than we asked. The new Nintendo Switch game has an array of cool features originating from Pokemon GO but there is one in particular that makes it a bestseller. That is the Pokeball Plus. A cool little accessory that you can use in game as a joycon, throw it to catch pokemon and more.

In detail, the Pokeball Plus has three functionalities. The first is the fact that you can use it as a controller, instead of your standard joycon or Pro controller. Its size is fairly small, making it hard for large handed players. Additionally, its click button is a bit hard to press and could sometime cause the wrong activity to be pushed. However, it’s a nice feature, especially if you’re playing in co-op mode.

Secondly and most importantly, you can use the Pokeball Plus to catch pokemon. You just attach the string and plastic ring to your hand and throw the ball to the screen. This is the most immersive pokemon catching technique up to date and we love it.

Thirdly, the Pokeball Plus has a use in Pokemon GO. Basically, it has the same functionality as the Pokemon GO bracelet. You can spin pokestops and catch pokemon idly, just by keeping it in your bag. This is one feature players might not know about. However, on the long run, this is the most useful feature.

Apart from the central joycon-like button, the Pokeball Plus has one more button. It is located on the top of the ball and is used as the B button, to open the menu screen or cancel selections.

Did we mention that it looks extremely cool as an addition to your collection? Oh it is. We hope we helped you with figuring out how the Pokeball Plus works. Setting the accessory isn’t hard and its manual can be too helpful on that manner. Go catch them all trainers!
