There is so much content right now regarding Kingdom Hearts 3 that players are enjoying from the latest update 1.03 patch notes to how to unlock the secret ending. This ending has players wondering if there will be a Kingdom Hearts 4. This is important to know because the current game is known to be the last in this trilogy so it has players wondering.
Of course, just because it is the last in the trilogy doesn’t mean there won’t be another game. However, there is a lot to unpack regarding whether or not this is true. Will There Be a Kingdom Hearts 4?
Let’s go ahead and get the official answer out of the way. There is no confirmation one way or the other. However, if you ask us, we absolutely think it’s not the last game in the franchise. Of course, we believe the main factor behind whether or not there is another Kingdom Hearts game is based on sales of Kingdom Hearts 3.
As long as the sales are profitable enough, we don’t see any reason why there won’t be. In fact, Kingdom Hearts 3 even hints towards the next game in the series. We won’t spoil it for you but the secret ending and epilogue certainly lend some evidence to the next game. In addition, it even hints at what that game(s) will be.
For now, though, we will have to wait and find out in the future if the series will continue. It will probably be pretty far away from now considering how long the development of this game took. But we don’t expect the possible Kingdom Hearts 4 to be in development for as long as Kingdom Hearts 3.
