Lakers Star Dwight Howard Headlines NBA 2K20 Spotlight Series II Packs, New Challenges in MyTeam
During the NBA offseason, the Los Angeles Lakers added another big man to the roster once Demarcus Cousins fell to another injury. With Dwight Howard helping in the Lakers’ rotation, they’ve managed to lead the Western Conference through the early part of the season. With Howard back in the spotlight, it leads to the big man headlining the latest NBA 2K20 Spotlight Series II packs and players.
New Spotlight Series II players available in packs
The Spotlight Series continues to bring in new stars to headline their promotion this season. The Lakers’ Dwight Howard is the latest to have that honor, based on his All-Star career. Now that he’s teamed with LeBron James and Anthony Davis, fans are waiting to see if Howard finally gets an NBA title.
Howard headlines these packs which include some of the hardwood’s best players of the past and present. Some of them are Howard’s former teammates or have played on the same teams Howard did. Amongst the available players are James Harden, Rashard Lewis, Vince Carter, and JJ Redick. Here’s a look at the official promotional trailer:

New Dwight Howard Spotlight Challenges in MyTeam
In addition to those packs and players, a series of Dwight Howard Spotlight challenges is now available in NBA 2K20 MyTeam. To access them, go to MyTeam, and then scroll to “Single Player” on the menu up top. Use the controller to choose “Challenges” and then “Spotlight Challenges.”
Dwight Howard has 17 challenges available, each of which earns different rewards for defeating them. Gamers need to beat the first challenge to unlock the next, and so forth.
Amongst the rewards gamers can earn are a Sapphire Evolution Dwight Howard card, Tokens, MT, and an Amethyst Rudy Gobert.
The Sapphire EVO Dwight Howard card is the very first reward available. It involves defeating the current Los Angeles Lakers. That nice Rudy Gobert card won’t arrive until defeating challenge No. 12 of 17.
