Fortnite Chapter 3 might be just around the corner. Epic Games has recently released a lot of content that indicates this could happen and the rumors about it are very exciting. Many players are looking forward to this and hoping that it will, once again, give them a fresh start.
The video game is currently in Season 8 of Chapter 2, but this may be the last season in the chapter. There is strong evidence that suggests the start of a new chapter, so we will have to wait and see what happens. Let’s check out all the evidence that has sparked all the rumors!
Fortnite Chapter 3 might start after Season 8
Chapter 1 of Fortnite Battle Royale had 10 seasons. It ended with “The End” event which was a perfect conclusion of the chapter. However, the second chapter may have only eight seasons and its own end could happen in just one month.
There is a lot of evidence that suggests that start of Chapter 3, so let’s take a look at it:
- The Cube Queen’s staff foreshadows the future of the island. “This staff has ended countless realities. Soon, the Island will join them,” is the in-game description of this item.
- Epic Games has used the phrase “the season following Chapter 2 Season 8” instead of “Chapter 2 – Season 9” in one of their blog posts.
- One of the previous leaks claimed that the Cube Queen would come to the game and introduce us to Chapter 3. The leak about the Queen ended up being true, so the rest of it might be true as well.
- Chapter 1 lasted for 747 days and Chapter 2 has already exceeded that length. If we get two more seasons, the total length of the second chapter would be more than 900 days.
- The island has gone through massive changes so far in the season and it could be argued that the map is quite cluttered now, similar to how it was in the last season of Chapter 1. Furthermore, one cube has insane power, yet the island currently has many cubes.
- There are leaks about the Black Hole returning, which was also teased by Donald Mustard, Chief Creative Officer at Epic Games.
Fortnite streamer believes Chapter 3 is coming soon
Ali “SypherPK” Hassan, one of the most popular Fortnite streamers, believes that we will get a new chapter soon. In one of his latest videos, SypherPK said the following: “Today I’m talking about the rumor that Chapter 3 is happening in one month. No Season 9, no Season X, we’re going straight into Chapter 3. At first, I was skeptical, I even made a video about it but now I’m completely convinced that it is happening.“
At the end of the video, he said how he believes that players will not be disappointed with what Epic Games has planned. However, he abruptly ended the video saying: “Catch you guys on the flipside,” making players wonder what it means. The flipside could refer to the bridge between different realities, but that’d be just a guess!
