CD Projekt Red has announced a new collaboration with the self-styled “Next-Gen Art Dealers,” Cook & Becker. The studio has worked with Cook & Becker before, most recently to release fine art prints of Cyberpunk 2077 concept art; the studio collaborates with a wide variety of studios and other companies. In this case, Cook & Becker are releasing a limited edition line of high-quality Witcher notebooks.
The New Cook & Becker Witcher Notebooks
Made in collaboration with CD Projekt Red, the new Witcher notebooks are no cheap tie-in notebooks either. The Limited Edition Witcher Notebook is retailing for $25.95, while the Collector’s Edition of the notebook retails for $56.95. According to the official description on Cook & Becker’s website; “Both notebooks feature hardcovers with rounded corners, with the paper inside subtly lined. Several pages contain concept art and sketches and textual observations, straight from the artists at CDPR. The visual inspiration for these notebooks comes from the iconic Witcher III key artwork ‘Gerald and Ciri’ – an image that also comprised part of Cook and Becker’s The Witcher III fine art collection.
The standard Limited Edition version of the notebook is designed to reference the equipment of Geralt of Rivia with a “deep-blue cover and brown spine”. The spine features the five Sign symbols embossed upon it. The notebook comes with a pencil with metal-colored lead, and a pen with silver ink, referencing Geralt’s twin steel and silver swords. Finally, the notebook comes with a metal wolf’s head medallion. The notebooks have 192 pages each, with elastic closures and bookmarks, as well as an inner pocket.
The separate Collector’s Edition comes with two notebooks instead of just one; the additional notebook features a different color scheme based on Ciri; white, brown, and turquoise. In addition, it features a giclee print of one of Cook & Becker’s Witcher art pieces. The Collector’s Edition also comes in a luxury box.
