It’s the final week of NFL action! The NFL Week 17 schedule brought an exciting batch of games including the Philadelphia Eagles vs. Washington Redskins and the Chicago Bears vs. Minnesota Vikings. With a number of teams vying for playoff seeds, or simply a spot in the postseason, the Madden 19 game posted simulation results. In addition, Madden Ultimate Team has a few new player cards for MUT gamers to be on the lookout for.

Madden 19: NFL Week 17 results predictions

Would the reigning Super Bowl champions return to the postseason? The Eagles needed to defeat the Redskins an then hope for the Bears to defeat the Vikings. In addition, the Bears were hoping that they’d get some help from the San Francisco 49ers. If the Niners defeated the Rams, it could mean a No. 2 seed for the Bears in the playoffs.

Ahead of the NFL Week 17 matchups, EA Sports Madden posted simulated NFL game results for Sunday. As seen below, they were able to correctly pick the winners in a majority of Sunday’s major games.

While the scores didn’t match up, a lot of the results did. They came extremely close to picking the Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers final score too. It finished 34-32 in favor of the Falcons. Unfortunately for Bears fans, the 49ers’ score was not close and they lost to the Rams.

Madden correctly predicted the winning teams in all of the games except for the Lions-Packers, 49ers-Rams, Dolphins-Bills, and Browns-Ravens. That was an 11-4 record out of the 15 games that were completed as of this report.

There was still the big Sunday Night Football game between the Indianapolis Colts and Tennessee Titans, with the winner getting a playoff spot. As of this report, the Colts were leading the Titans, 14-0. If that holds up in favor of Indy, Madden’s NFL Week 17 results were an impressive 12-4. Not too shabby, but will they be able to predict the playoffs and Super Bowl winner too?

In addition, the Pittsburgh Steelers’ JuJu Smith-Schuster is available as a Zero Chill Elite player card with a 90 rating. His Steelers still had a slim chance of getting into the postseason, but they needed a rare tie to happen in the Sunday Night Football game for that to occur.

The latest Madden Ultimate Team cards arrive after a busy weekend of new player card reveals. They included a number of Ghosts of Madden past and Zero Chill MUT cards. Some of the recent player cards included Rob Gronkowski, Russell Wilson, Vita Rea, Brian Dawkins and Terrell Owens.
