Madden 19 NFL Week 4 Predictions Via Simulation: Include Vikings Vs. Rams, Dolphins Vs. Patriots

On Thursday night, the NFL Week 4 schedule gets going as the undefeated Los Angeles Rams host the Minnesota Vikings. In addition, a number of big games appear on the upcoming slate including Tom Brady and the Patriots trying to avoid a third-straight loss. Luckily there are NFL Week 4 predictions thanks to various Madden 19 simulations run on the hit football game.

Madden 19 NFL Week 4 predictions: Vikings vs. Rams

With Thursday night’s game in Los Angeles, the Rams are attempting to become the first 4-0 team this season. Behind quarterback Jared Goff and a strong defense, they have a good shot. However, Kirk Cousins and the Vikings are trying to bounce back from a disappointing loss to avoid a losing record. Oddsmakers have pegged the home team as a touchdown favorite at most sportsbooks.

USA Today’s RamsWire ran a simulation for the big matchup with an over-six minute long video featuring highlights. Minnesota struck first in the simulated game with a field goal. However, Goff aired out a huge pass down the field with under six minutes to go to get his Rams closer to scoring. They’d settle for a field goal to tie things up but Cousins connected with Stefan Diggs for a huge touchdown pass to give Minny the 10-3 advantage.

The Rams added a safety to their total early in the second quarter and then took a 12-10 lead on a Goff pass to the end zone. The Vikings would add a field goal to regain the 13-12 lead. The Rams also added a field goal for the 15-13 halftime lead. Bayley added two more field goals in the second half to extend Minnesota’s lead to 16-15, but another Goff pass to the end zone recaptured the lead.

The game was tied 22-22 until Todd Gurley found the end zone on a short run in the fourth quarter. Cousins still had time to work with under two minutes to go and he managed to tie things up on a big pass. In overtime, the Rams pulled off a 32-29 victory thanks to another field goal.

Madden 19 NFL Week 4 predictions: Best of the Rest

Fans will be keeping an eye on that Rams outcome for Thursday night, as well as the rest of the schedule. For example, Tom Brady and the Patriots haven’t quite looked like Super Bowl contenders. They’ll get a home game where they host the undefeated Miami Dolphins on Sunday. Josh Gordon is unlikely to play, but if and when he does, the Pats will have another weapon for “timeless Tom.”

According to App Trigger’s Week 4 simulations, Brady and company will win this one, and win big. They’ll give their fans a 38-6 rout of the Dolphins. They note that Brady finished the sim with 351 yards and two touchdowns, while Rob Gronkowski had nine catches for 11 yards. James White stepped up with 117 yards and two TDs in the win.

Here’s a look at the simulation results (via App Trigger).

Rams 38, Vikings 27
Packers 30, Bills 20
Bengals 20, Falcons 19
Cowboys 31, Lions 24
Texans 47, Colts 13
Patriots 38, Dolphins 6
Jaguars 30, Jets 27
Eagles 42, Titans 35
Bears 30, Buccaneers 23
Raiders 24, Browns 10
Cardinals 26, Seahawks 23
Saints 48, Giants 9
Chargers 45, 49ers 14
Baltimore Ravens 24, Steelers 10
Chiefs 41, Broncos 3

Based on the results above, just two undefeated teams will remain after the NFL Week 4 games. The Chiefs are going to dominate the Broncos to pick up their fourth win, just a few days after the Rams go 4-0. Meanwhile, some intriguing games on the list above include the Bears taking on the Bucs after their first loss, as well as the Lions trying to surge off their big win over the Patriots. Fans will certainly be glued to their television sets and mobile devices to see how these results play out.

Meanwhile, Madden NFL 19 is available for fans to play their own Week 4 simulations. It’s currently on special at Amazon.com for $20 off the regular price. The Madden game is available for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PCs everywhere.
