Madden 19 Ultimate Team Week 3: Lions’ Kerryon Johnson, Rams’ Jared Goff On New MUT

The Madden 19 Ultimate Team (MUT) for Week 3 is now available with deserving players making the latest cut. The majority of these players were instrumental for their teams in terms of NFL Week 3 games. Most of those players were on the winning side of things too. That includes Los Angeles Rams’ quarterback Jared Goff, as well as the Detroit Lions’ Kerryon Johnson. Here’s the latest on these players and more who are on the NFL Week 3 MUT.

Madden 19 Ultimate Team – Johnson, Goff star in wins

Last week, Kansas City quarterback Patrick Mahomes was among the big stars on the Week 2 MUT. After the Monday Night Football game, there are only three undefeated teams left in the NFL. They are Mahomes’ Chiefs, the Miami Dolphins, and the Los Angeles Rams. Of those 3-0 teams, Jared Goff helped guide the Rams to another big win, 35-23 over the Chargers. Goff tossed for 354 yards and three touchdowns on a 29-for-36 day. While he also ended up throwing an interception and was sacked once, his performance was easily worthy of the MUT for Week 3.

The Detroit Lions aren’t among the undefeated teams right now. However, the good news is they are no longer among the winless teams either. They secured a huge first win of the season over the New England Patriots in Sunday Night Football. Halfback Kerryon Johnson had 16 carries for 101 yards and a 6.3 yard average per run. While he didn’t cross into the end zone during the game, his yards were crucial in helping Detroit get down the field for multiple scoring plays.

Madden 19 Ultimate Team – Who Else Made the Cut?

Looking at the Week 3 game results (per ESPN), these players seem qualified for MUT. Most of the players listed below were major forces on the gridiron in terms of helping their teams get victories. For example, Carlos Hyde had 23 carries for 98 yards and two touchdowns to help the Browns defeat the Jets 21-17. Eagles’ tight end Dallas Goedert was the recipient of returning quarterback Carson Wentz targeting him seven times. That led to a Goedert touchdown and 73 yards for the day in a 20-16 win.

  • Dallas Goedert – TE, Eagles (77)
  • Jared Goff – QB, Rams (85)
  • Jakeem Grant – WR, Dolphins (78)
  • Xavien Howard – CB, Dolphins (84)
  • Carlos Hyde – HB, Browns (84)
  • Micah Hyde – SS, Bills (90)
  • Donte Jackson – CB, Panthers ()
  • Eddie Jackson – FS, Bears (81)
  • Cory Littleton – MLB, Rams (77)
  • Christian McCaffrey – HB, Panthers (90)
  • Kerryon Johnson – HB, Lions (80)
  • Matt Milano – ROLB, Bills (80)
  • Calvin Ridley – WR, Falcons (81)
  • Wesley Woodyard – MLB, Titans (85)

Of the players above, just one was on the losing side, but it was in what’s been described as a “Madden-like” NFL game. The Falcons and Saints went back and forth with scoring. At the end of regulation, it was all tied up at 37 due to the scoring battle. The Saints ultimately won in overtime, 43-37, but the Falcons’ Calvin Ridley had a day. Ridley ended up with a mighty 146 yards and three touchdowns off seven receptions.

Now players can add Ridley, Goff, Johnson and the rest for their Ultimate Team to help overall ratings. The Madden NFL 19 game is currently available for gamers on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PCs. Fans can get more information about the latest Madden Ultimate Team here at EA Sports.
