Madden 20 Golden Tickets Program Details: Dates, Times, and How it Works

The Madden 20 Golden Tickets is officially ready for launch in-game but on a limited-time basis. With this program, lucky gamers who complete certain challenges may pull a shiny Golden Ticket as their reward. On Monday morning’s EA Madden Twitch stream, they gave some of the program details including the upcoming schedule for the event and how it works.

How does Madden 20 Golden Tickets program work?

Madden 20 Golden Tickets will involve completing limited-time challenges in Ultimate Team to earn rewards. These Ultimate Challenges will be a sequence of three games each on two different days this week. Most likely they will be full games with three-minutes quarters.

With each game, comes a reward. That could be a Quicksell for Madden Coins. Or it could be the biggest of those rewards, the Golden Tickets. These will be very rare with only a select few lucky gamers pulling one after a challenge. However, the Golden Ticket allows whoever has it to design their dream 99 overall player for Madden Ultimate Team!

On Tuesday and Friday, there will be a total of five Golden Tickets given to Xbox One gamers and five Golden Tickets given to PS4 gamers. The program is not available for PC gamers. That means a total of 20 Golden Tickets are going out to people as rewards.

The EA Madden team running the promotion is expected to reach out to the lucky Golden Ticket winners on Monday, March 16. They’ll make contact through the winning gamer’s Madden Rewards email to get information about the custom 99 OVR player they want.

When does the program start?

The first of the Madden 20 Golden Tickets Ultimate Challenges go live on Tuesday, March 10 at 9 p.m. Eastern Time. The Ultimate Challenges have a limit of just one-hour in terms of availability for gamers to try their luck at winning a Golden Ticket.

The second Ultimate Challenges go live on Friday, March 13 at 10 p.m. ET. As with the Tuesday sequence, Friday’s challenges are limited to just an hour.

In an important side note, EA Madden’s Agent K tweeted out that they’ll be “gating” Solo Challenges and Weekend League at specific times during the days of the Ultimate Challenges. Those times are Tuesday from 8 to 10 p.m. Eastern Time and Friday from 9 to 11 p.m. ET.

The 13th is normally an unlucky date for those who are superstitious, but some gamers may achieve a sweet reward from the promotion. A custom-designed 99 OVR player could really boost a MUT roster in desperate need of a certain type of player.
