Madden 20 Heavyweights Revealed for Ultimate Team, Weekend League Officially Opens

The Madden 20 Ultimate Team content continues to arrive! As the preseason is set to really get going with a full slate of games on Thursday, fans are now able to add Madden 20 Heavyweights players. It’s a brand new MUT program highlighted by larger NFL players including Nick Bosa, Lane Johnson, and Kenny Clark. In addition, the start of the Madden 20 Weekend League has also arrived where gamers can earn rewards for their particular rankings in the event.

Who are the Madden 20 Heavyweights players?

Just a few days ago, we got a look at the Madden 20 Flashbacks, a returning Ultimate Team program. Thursday brought a new program with Madden 20 Heavyweights. They’re bigger players who gamers can add to their Ultimate Team for help in key positions. These include all offensive and defensive line players. Fullback Patrick Ricard of the Baltimore Ravens was also revealed.

All of the players revealed have either an 86 or 87 overall rating. Left end Joey Bosa brings an 87 overall, with 91 Finesse Moves, 82 Strength, 83 Power Moves, and 86 Play Recognition. His speed is 75, giving a very good pass rusher for your Madden Ultimate Team.

A total of eight Madden 20 Heavyweights are available with the first group. Here’s the full list of MUT player cards with their positions and OVRs:

  • RE Yannick Ngakoue (Jaguars) 86
  • LE Joey Bosa (Chargers) 87
  • DT Kenny Clark (Packers) 87
  • RT Lane Johnson (Eagles) 87
  • DT Linval Joseph (Vikings) 86
  • LG Ali Marpet (Buccaneers) 86
  • FB Patrick Ricard (Ravens) 86
  • LT Joey Staley (49ers) 87

All of the above player cards for Madden 20 Heavyweights have Power Up potential, so they can be upgraded. That’s good news as some of these guys don’t have the best Speed or Strength attributes for the start of the program.

The Madden 20 Heavyweights players are available through the store. Heavyweight packs currently go for 1,780 Training Points so spend wisely!
