Madden 20 Journey 4 Greatest Rivals: How to Get David Johnson Master Item, Free Golden Ticket Player
On June 5, EA unveiled a new Madden 20 Journey 4 Greatest Rivals program in Ultimate Team. It features some of the greatest rivalries in NFL history. Gamers are able to play through various game situations to earn Stars and other big rewards. One of those is a new David Johnson Master item with upgraded attributes. There’s also a free Golden Ticket player up for grabs for gamers. Here’s how to get these items for MUT.
Madden 20 Journey 4 Greatest Rivals: How to Get David Johnson
The new Madden 20 Journey 4 Greatest Rivals is the fourth and final installment in the Journey series. It features two different sets of missions. One is called Origin of the Rivalry worth a total of 19,000 Coins. The other is State Rivals, worth a total of 4,750 Madden Coins.
Each of the missions involves a different rivalry you’ll play in such as the Rams vs. 49ers, Bears vs. Packers and Steelers vs. Patriots. In the mission, you’ll have a unique goal such as score one touchdown. There’s also a bonus goal such as “Get a sack.” You can earn a total of four stars per mission, with a certain number of Coins per stars earned.
As you rack up Stars, you’ll earn special rewards along the way. Here’s a look at all of the rewards including where you’ll get that David Johnson Master item.
- 15 Stars – Tier 1 – Gold Player Pack
- 30 Stars – Tier 2 – Gold Player Pack
- 75 Stars – Tier 3 – Gridiron Player Pack
- 125 Stars – Tier 4 – David Johnson Master item
- 160 Stars – Tier 5 – 1,000 Madden Coins
- 200 Stars – Tier 6 – Gold Player Pack + Journey Completion Token
As seen above it takes 125 Stars to earn the 97 OVR David Johnson Master. That card features 98 Jumping, 96 Acceleration, 95 Speed, 94 Agility, 92 Trucking, 92 Carrying, and 91 Elusiveness.
In terms of his abilities, Johnson can get RAC ‘em Up, Wrecking Ball, First One Free, Satellite, Freight Train, or Protective Custody for X-Factor. He can also have three Superstar Abilities.

How to get a free Golden Ticket player
The Madden 20 Golden Ticket players have been rolling out over the past months. They’ve featured upgraded player items based on what fans who won Golden Tickets selected. Some of the players we’ve seen get the items included Michael Vick, Calvin Johnson, Jalen Ramsey, Lamar Jackson, and Bo Jackson.
With Madden 20 Journey 4 Greatest Rivals, gamers are able to rack up Stars to get various rewards. For completing all of the objectives and achieving the total 200 Stars, you’ll get a Gold Player Pack and a Journey Completion Token.
There were three previous Madden 20 Journeys. They were NFL 100: Part 1, NFL 100: Part 2, and Theme Diamonds. If you’ve completed each of the Journey installments in Madden, you should now have four of these Completion tokens.
The set is good for an exchange set to get a 99 OVR Golden Ticket player. Choose any of the available players to really give your MUT roster a boost!
