Madden 20 Legends: Gale Sayers, Brian Dawkins Get Ultimate Team Player Items
While the excitement of Superstar KO is sweeping Madden fans, there’s still Ultimate Team as the season is underway. On Saturday, two more Madden 20 Legends will join the MUT offerings. They are none other than Chicago Bears great Gale Sayers and Philadelphia Eagles safety Brian Dawkins. Each of these gridiron greats now has new player items for Madden Ultimate Team.
Sayers, Dawkins added to Madden 20 Legends
The Chicago Bears have had several great running backs throughout the team’s history, with Gale Sayers among them. Sayers racked up 4,956 yards and 39 touchdowns during his seven years with the Bears. The five-time All-Pro running back also picked up nine touchdowns and 1,307 yards receiving during his days in Chicago.
His new Madden 20 Legends card brings a 91 overall item which includes 90s across the board for Speed, Agility, Elusiveness, and Acceleration. An 89 rating for Break Tackle is also helpful for escaping menacing defenders. Here’s the card reveal from Friday night’s Twitch stream:
On the defensive side of the ball, former Eagles free safety Brian Dawkins joins the Madden 20 Legends program. Also known as “Wolverine” or “Weapon X,” Dawkins played in 224 career games. Amongst his career stats were 895 solo tackles, 26 sacks, 36 forced fumbles, 37 interceptions, and three touchdowns. He played from 1996 through 2008 in Philadelphia before closing the final three years of his career with Denver.
On Dawkins’ new 91 overall card, he gets a 91 Hit Power to take down offensive stars on the field. There’s also 89s for Zone Coverage and Play Recognition along with that 87 Speed for the 6-foot safety. Here’s a look at his new card for the Legends program:
These players join previous Madden Legends including Steve Young, Jerry Rice, and Lawrence Taylor. Both Sayers and Dawkins will now have cards available in packs over the weekend, starting Saturday, September 7.
In addition, there are new Madden 20 Legends challenges available for both players in Ultimate Team. In the challenges, gamers have to defeat the legend’s team with their Ultimate Team. That results in scoring a Power Up card for the particular legend to add to your roster.
