Madden 20 Most Feared Details: New Player Items, Currency, & Challenges Arrive in Ultimate Team
As trick or treat season is underway and Halloween approaches, EA’s Madden 20 Most Feared program is here! The newest installment of their Halloween-themed promotion will allow gamers to get high-rated cards of new stars in Ultimate Team. That includes some very high-rated items for Ray Lewis, Cam Newton, and Tyler Lockett, among others. Here’s a look at the new program details and who is available.
Madden 20 Most Feared Part 1 new players
Gamers will get a Most Feared Welcome Pack for signing into Ultimate Team. Inside is a Ray Lewis Most Feared card with an 80 overall rating and a Most Feared MUT Tip. Madden Loyalty Club members may get an additional Most Feared Pack featuring different players including several from the new promotion.
The first group of players available through the promotion are revealed, some of which involve “crafting materials” to create them. Three different groups were revealed for the first part of the promotion. They are Scary Fast, Scary Strong, and Scary Sharp.
Here are each of the players revealed for the three groups so far (per MUTHead):
Scary Fast:
- Tyler Lockett (Hero) – 40x Speed and 55x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Jabrill Peppers – 10x Speed and 25x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Tevin Coleman – 4x Speed and 7x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Dante Fowler Jr – 1x Speed and 3x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Jakeem Grant – 4x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Shaquem Griffin – 3x Skill crafting materials to complete.
Scary Strong:
- Cam Newton (Hero) – 40x Strength and 55x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Jonathan Allen – 10x Strength and 25x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Marcus Cannon – 4x Strength and 7x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Tremaine Edmunds – 1x Strength and 3x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Will Dissly – 4x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Star Lotulelei – 3x Skill crafting materials to complete.
Scary Sharp:
- Earl Thomas III (Hero) – 40x Perception and 55x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Brian Winters – 10x Perception and 25x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Nickell Robey-Coleman – 4x Perception and 7x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- J.R. Sweezy – 1x Perception and 3x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Karl Joseph – 4x Skill crafting materials to complete.
- Jacoby Brissett – 3x Skill crafting materials to complete.
Ray Lewis’ Master item available with set
A Ray Lewis Most Feared Master item is the top available card with this first reveal of players. Lewis’ card is a 93 overall item. To get the Ray Lewis MF Master, you’ll need a set of the 92 OVR Cam Newton, Tyler Lockett, and Earl Thomas III Hero items from the promotion as mentioned above.
By trading in Newton, Lockett, and Thomas, gamers get the 93 OVR Ray Lewis Most Feared item shown above. In addition, gamers get all three NAT versions of the players in the set (Newton, Lockett, Thomas) as well as a Ray Lewis Power Up item.
A new currency ‘Bats’ & Cauldron Masters
A new currency is available in the game as part of the Madden 20 Most Feared program. Since it’s a Halloween theme, it’s only natural that “Bats” is the new form of currency.
Gamers can use Bats to purchase Most Feared Packs, random players, skill items, or materials at the Store. Speaking of that, a number of new items are available at the store including Most Feared Packs, Bundles, Skill Materials, and Uniforms. They are available for Points, Madden Coins, and Bats.
There are three Cauldron Masters players with a 91 OVR Michael Thomas (WR, Saints), 90 OVR Anthony Barr (LOLB, Vikings), and 89 OVR Vita Vea (DT, Buccaneers).
To get a player, you’ll need to assemble a set of that player’s border, background, and player image items. Gamers get these items randomly through Cauldron challenge events or Haunted House Rules. They’ll also be on the Auction House and Trade block.
Most Feared Challenges: Cauldron & Pun Zone
There are two new types of Madden 20 Most Feared challenges. The Cauldron Challenges gives gamers 10 opportunities a day to earn the Most Feared crafting items or other items for Cauldron Master sets. Gamers earn rewards for each win but only get 10 tries a day. A loss counts towards the 10 total tries for a day.
There’s also Pun Zone Challenges. These earn coins and Bats for completion of the games. The challenges expire on Friday, November 1 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.
