Madden 20 NFL Playoffs Promotion Begins With Over 85 Player Cards, New Legends, and Ultimate Challenges

The Madden 20 NFL Playoffs are underway just as the real-life postseason has started on Saturday, January 4. The new Ultimate Team promotion features over 85 new player cards including at 90 overall or better. In addition, they’ve rolled out a brand new series of Madden Ultimate Challenges to play for a special reward.

Madden 20 NFL Playoffs promotion players

On Friday night, the first of the Madden 20 Playoffs player cards were revealed. They included Deshaun Watson, Drew Brees, Davante Adams, and Stephen Gilmore amongst them. These were the Madden Playoffs Heroes. In addition to those stars, many more players were officially revealed for the program from the playoff teams.

They include a number of players rated in the 90s such as: Titans’ Ryan Tannehill, Bills’ Josh Allen, Texans’ Kenny Stills, and Chiefs’ LeSean McCoy. The Bills’ Devin Singletary, Seahawks’ Duane Brown, 49ers’ Deebo Samuel, and Ravens’ Marquise Brown are also amongst new player items.

A full list of all of the new Madden 20 Playoffs players is available at MUTHead website.

New Madden Playoffs Legends Champ Bailey, Terrell Owens

Earlier today, we also showed the new Madden 20 Legends players. For the playoffs promotion, there are two Madden 20 Legends of the Playoffs. Former Denver Broncos cornerback Champ Bailey and San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Terrell Owens each have new 96 OVR items for Ultimate Team.

To get the Bailey item you need to put together a set of any three AFC Playoffs Heroes. There were the first Madden Playoffs players we showed Friday night. They are Travis Kelce, Ronnie Stanley, Tremaine Edmunds, Deshaun Watson, Kevin Byard, and Stephen Gilmore.

To get the Owens item, you’ll need a set of any three NFC Playoffs Heroes. They are Dee Ford, Davante Adams, Brandon Brooks, Marshawn Lynch, Danielle Hunter, and Drew Brees.

Upon completing either set, gamers get the Legends of the Playoffs Master, Power Up item, and a Fantasy Pack. That pack contains a choice of three of the NAT Playoffs Heroes from that conference.

Gamers can get Playoffs Heroes sets by assembling that Heroes’ set of non-Heroes player items. For example, to get Drew Brees requires Demario Davis, Erik McCoy, Vonn Bell, Eli Apple, Andrus Peat, and Chauncey Gardner-Johnson. DeShaun Watson requires a set of Kenny Stills, Jonathan Joseph, Zach Cunningham, Nick Martin, Max Scharping, and Jordan Atkins.

New Playoffs Ultimate Challenges available

In addition to the regular playoffs players, Heroes, and Legends, there are brand new Madden 20 NFL Playoffs Ultimate Challenges. There’s a total of 24 challenges as part of this with Stars and Coins up for grabs. However, achieving a total of 108 Stars will earn a NAT 89 OVR Madden 20 Playoffs player.

The NFL Playoffs began on Saturday, January 4 with the two AFC Wild Card Round games. See our AFC predictions via Madden simulations. Two NFC Wild Card Round games arrive on Sunday, January 5.
