Madden 20 Ratings: Fans Want Derrick Henry Upgrade, X-Factor After Wild Card Performance

In Saturday’s NFL Playoffs action, the AFC Wild Card games took place and provided a pair of exciting matchups. In the first of those games, the Houston Texans made a big comeback in the second half with 19 unanswered points to eventually win in overtime. The second game saw the Tennessee Titans pull off the upset by defeating the New England Patriots 20-13. After Derrick Henry’s impressive game for the Titans, many people believe a Madden 20 ratings is in order.

Derrick Henry deserving of Madden 20 ratings upgrade after AFC Wild Card game

Taking out the mighty New England Patriots is no easy feat, especially in their home stadium. Add in the fact it was the AFC Wild Card Round with a trip to the Divisional Round on the line. However, the Titans got the win behind Henry’s ground game. He racked up a whopping 182 yards and a touchdown on 34 carries. Basically, Henry couldn’t be stopped and the Titans were able to employ a creative game plan to upset the Patriots.

Now fans of the football video game want to see him upgraded. In terms of the Madden 20 ratings database, Derrick Henry is currently just an 89 overall in the game after a recent one-point boost. At the game’s launch, he was an 83, showing how his season has progressed.

However, many members of the gaming community feel the regular season rushing leader is more than deserving of a major boost as well as a Superstar X-Factor. As of right now, only Titans free safety Kevin Byard and right defensive end Jurrell Casey are the only Superstars for the team.

For the regular season, Henry finished with 1,540 rushing yards, defeating Cleveland’s Nick Chubb for the title. He also had 16 touchdowns on the ground for the Titans as well as 18 receptions for 206 receiving yards and another two touchdowns. It’s impressive work and now it’s deserving of the boost.

Gaming community speaks in favor of upgrade, X-Factor

Members of the gaming community have been calling out EA for not giving Henry a Madden 20 ratings upgrade or Superstar X-Factor yet. On Twitter, many people are replying to EA Madden’s recent tweet to wish Henry a happy birthday with comments asking for upgrades.

“Give. Him. A. Damn. X Factor. And increase his ratings. Everyday I have to tweet you about it and nothing. Rushing champ, longest run in history, and still nothing,” one Twitter comment reads.

“Make changes to everyones over based on their season!!,” another Twitter user said based on the Titan’s playoff push.

“Back to back 200 yard games and no x factor,” yet another says.

“Madden you need to adjust his rating and give him a stiff arm X-factor,” one Twitter member suggested.

In terms of Ultimate Team, Derrick Henry’s best card so far has been a Team of the Week item with a 91 OVR. He was also featured with an 86 OVR Flashbacks. Those won’t cut it in the current MUT environment with running backs like Bo Jackson and Eric Dickerson having much better overall cards.

However, the new Madden 20 NFL Playoffs promotion recently started so it’s quite possible Mr. Henry will get some sort of limited-availability pack item there. If not, he certainly needs a Madden 20 ratings upgrade in the near future based on this season’s performance.
