Madden 20 Roster Update Adds Jadeveon Clowney to Seahawks, Drops Andrew Luck from Colts, & More
The first day of the NFL season is finally here as the Green Bay Packers will visit the Chicago Bears to start things off at Soldier Field. That caps off a preseason which saw lots of important roster moves. Over the past several weeks, fans also saw quite a bit of personnel change teams, including a surprising retirement, and a number of different signings or trades. That means a Madden 20 roster update was necessary and it arrives just as the first game of the season does.
Madden 20 roster update now available
The new Madden 20 roster update will give gamers the most accurate NFL team rosters. For example, it will officially add right end Jadeveon Clowney to the Seattle Seahawks. That was a huge acquisition for Seattle just before the season starts, giving them a third player who is rated 90 overall besides 99 Bobby Wagner and 91 Russell Wilson.
The Houston Texans also have a number of new players after a weekend of busy activity. That includes left tackle Laremy Tunsil, wide receiver Kenny Stills, and running back Carlos Hyde. The Kansas City Chiefs added halfback LeSean McCoy to their roster after he was cut by the Buffalo Bills. Those are just some of the roster moves that made waves around the league.
Don’t forget that Andrew Luck shocked the sports world not long ago by announcing his retirement. He no longer appears on the Indianapolis Colts roster as fans will have to move forward with new quarterback Jacoby Brissett. However, there are still Ultimate Team items in Madden 20 for the former Colts QB including his Andrew Luck Tribute card.
How to get the roster update on the game
To get the new Madden 20 roster update, gamers need to go onto their console of choice and choose the “Customize” option on the main screen (a gear symbol on PS4). From there, choose “Manage Rosters” and then select the “Update Rosters” choice. It should give a pop-up noting there’s a brand new roster update for the game, and you can choose “OK” or “Yes” to apply it.
The Madden 20 roster update doesn’t take as long as a patch or title update and should be ready to go instantly, barring any server issues. With that, you can now start playing games with the official rosters for the 100th anniversary NFL season!
