Tuesday, January 7 brought two reveals for EA’s Madden Team of the Week. In an earlier post, we showed off Team of the Week 16 which featured high-rated cards for Saquon Barkley and Mark Andrews. Now we have the full Madden 20 Team of the Week 17 reveal including more star players. Here’s a look at who all is featured including Hero, LTD, and other player cards.

Madden 20 Team of the Week 17: LTD Michael Gallup, Heroes Joe Mixon, and Deion Jones

Dallas Cowboys wide receiver Michael Gallup is the limited-availability item for Madden 20 Team of the Week 17. His upgraded card features a 94 overall rating along with key attributes such as 94 Deep Route Run, 92 Speed, 92 Spectacular Catch, 91 Catching, and 91 Short Route Run. This one is available in packs until Thursday, January 9 at 10 a.m. Eastern Time.

The TOTW 17 Offensive Hero is Cincinnati Bengals running back Joe Mixon, while the Defensive Hero is Atlanta Falcons middle linebacker Deion Jones. Each player gets a new 93 OVR item. Mixon’s card features 93 Acceleration, 92 Agility, 92 Carrying, 91 Speed, and 88 Break Tackle. Jones’ new card includes 90 Acceleration, 90 Tackle, 89 Speed, 89 Play Recognition, and 87 Zone Coverage.

To get either Mixon or Jones, gamers need to assemble a set of the 12 non-Hero player cards shown below. The other option is to pick them up at the Auction Browser by spending Madden Coins.

Which other players are on TOTW 17?

In terms of lower-rated player cards that are still quite good, there’s quarterback Gardner Minshew, cornerback Eric Rowe, tight end Tyler Higbee, and right end Maxx Crosby. They range in ratings from 87 overall to 89 overall. All four player cards are displayed below with key attributes.

Eight other players make up the 12 non-Hero items that are needed to get the Mixon or Jones Hero cards. They include Eagles star halfback Boston Scott, Bears middle linebacker Kevin Pierre-Louis, Vikings halfback Mike Boone, and Saints wide receiver Tre’Quan Smith. Ratings range from 79 to 86 overall for these players.

The new Madden 20 Team of the Week 17 players are found through the packs and bundle offers available at Ultimate Team Store. In addition, they’re being sold on the Auction Browser for bids or “buy now” options. By collecting all 12 of the players up above, gamers can trade in the set for either the Offensive Hero Joe Mixon or Defensive Hero Deion Jones.

There are also new challenges available for Mixon and Jones. These can be played for a maximum of 10 Stars and bring rewards that include Coins, a Team of the Year Collectible Token, and a free Team of the Week player card.
