Madden 20 Team Ratings: Baltimore Ravens’ Player Ratings Revealed

The new Madden football game is still weeks away, but early information is arriving about some teams and their personnel. While EA hasn’t revealed all of the top-rated players in the game, some of the Madden 20 team ratings for players are arriving. That includes the Baltimore Ravens, which feature brand new defensive star Earl Thomas III and star quarterback Lamar Jackson.

Madden 20 team ratings: Top Ravens include Thomas, Yanda

An Instagram post from @flockdistrict shows off the screens with all Baltimore Ravens players’ numbers. That includes major free agent acquisition Earl Thomas III, who was a member of the Seattle Seahawks’ “Legion of Boom” defense for a good part of his career. The Madden Free Agents promotion in Ultimate Team arrived just before he made his move to Baltimore’s roster. Thomas brings a 96 overall to the game this year, making him the Ravens’ top player.

For the Madden 19 ratings, Thomas started the game as a 95 overall, and moved as high as a 97, before settling back at 96 to close out the season. Earl Thomas III is joined by only one other player with a 90-or-better and that’s Marshal Yanda. The right guard, shown below, has a 91 overall.

Kicker Justin Tucker and halfback Melvin Ingram III are also amongst high-rated Ravens players. Scroll through the Instagram screens below to get a full idea of the Baltimore Ravens’ team and player ratings.

Starting quarterback Lamar Jackson helped the team get to the playoffs and showed flashes of brilliance. In the new Madden 20 team ratings, his player OVR is an 80 to start the new game. Jackson started Madden 19 as a 77 and ended the season as an 80, so he also brings his final OVR to the new game.

Some Ravens’ fans may be puzzled over low numbers for certain players. In a previous live stream where they discussed Madden Ultimate Team, they also brought up a change for Madden 20 player ratings.

EA developers mentioned they’ve overhauled that a bit and a lot more players will be in the 60s for the new game. This will be something they tweak over the season too based on player performances in real games.

As mentioned in the Instagram caption above, the rookie ratings aren’t accurate as they have yet to be updated for Madden 20 team ratings. So that will leave some room for surprises and reveals.
