Madden 20 Ultimate Team: MUT Superstars Revealed for Game’s Release Date
On August 2, the Madden 20 NFL game officially arrives for select consoles and PCs. With the game will come new features such as Superstar X-Factor and the QB1 Career Mode, as well as updated gameplay. There’s also the newest Madden 20 Ultimate Team mode which will include all sorts of new content in the coming season. Just a day ahead of the game’s big release date, the EA Madden crew revealed which MUT Superstars are going to be available when it drops.
Madden 20 Ultimate Team launch has Mahomes amongst MUT Superstars
Headlining the initial batch of Madden 20 Ultimate Team content is none other than the cover star Patrick Mahomes. The Kansas City Chiefs quarterback was part of the quick recap preview that @EASports_MUT revealed on their Twitter on Thursday. Check out their video below which is just over a minute and shows off many of the MUT Superstars coming as soon as the game is available to play.
Here’s a closer look at the MUT Superstars card for cover star Patrick Mahomes ahead of the release date. It boasts a 90 overall rating for the Chiefs’ QB. Mahomes is considered the best quarterback in the game heading into the new NFL season, based on the Madden 20 QB ratings.
As mentioned in the recap, these cards include the ability to power them up. You’ll need to use available training points to do that. In some instances you can use a Madden 20 Power Up Pass to get to a specific level.

This Madden 20 Ultimate Team content goes live at approximately 12 a.m. Eastern Time, or shortly thereafter, according to the video. First up, gamers who are waiting to get their game will have to download it onto the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, or PC.
