Madden 20 Ultimate Team Veterans: Clay Matthews, LeGarrette Blount Get New MUT Items
Two more players joined the Madden 20 Ultimate Team Veterans program on Friday, August 30. The special MUT program features veteran stars from the current NFL. For Friday’s players, gamers now have vets Clay Matthews and LeGarrette Blount available for MUT rosters. Here’s a look at their new player items and how to get them in the Madden 20 Ultimate Team mode.
New Madden 20 Ultimate Team Veterans Clay Matthews, LeGarrette Blount
In addition to today’s first Madden 20 Team of the Week reveal of the season, we’re getting plenty of other news for the game. Two more MUT 20 Veterans are now available for gamers to add to their squads. First up, we’ve got Los Angeles Rams right outside linebacker Clay Matthews. It’s an 86 overall card with 85 Play Recognition, 84 Acceleration, 80 Strength, and 82 Block Shedding.
LeGarrette Blount also appears as a member of the Detroit Lions for the MUT Veterans program. His 86 OVR card brings attributes such as 88 Carrying, 88 Trucking, 85 Acceleration, and 80 Speed. However, there is no Power Up or Chemistry with the card. Fans will remember that Blount also played for other squads in the league including the New England Patriots.
There are better options for Madden Ultimate Team players, but obviously drawing these from packs isn’t bad either. Based on the value they’re getting in Auctions so far, they could be valuable to auction off. Or choose to keep them if your MUT squad really needs the help.
To get these new Madden 20 Veterans players, simply head to the Packs Store of Ultimate Team. They’re currently available through Veterans Packs in the Training Currency section. The packs have a cost of 930 each and will bring one random 84-or-higher OVR Veterans player. Use our guide for how to get Training in Madden 20 as it can be used for the purchases.
The other option is that Auction Browser, but a word of caution here. These guys won’t be cheap. Here’s a look at the prices sellers are beginning their Blount auctions at. Matthews’ auctions are generally 10K Coins less for starting bids. If you’ve got the Coins to spend and want them, then certainly make those moves.
The Madden 20 Ultimate Team is certainly becoming more robust by the day! Not only do we have those new Veterans, but also the first TOTW, Flashbacks, Legends, and Theme Diamonds, amongst other programs. EA will have a new Madden 20th Anniversary M20 player and two more Legends for the weekend, so stay tuned.
