New Madden 20 Veterans Players Revealed: Golden Tate III, Cameron Wake Get New MUT Items
As Madden Ultimate Team fans await the reveal of the new NFL 100 players on Friday, there’s a pair of new veteran players now available. EA’s Madden Twitch program unveiled the New York Giants’ Golden Tate III and Tennessee Titans’ Cameron Wake as the newest additions to MUT. Here are more details about their brand new Madden 20 Veterans items including costs to acquire them.
Golden Tate III, Cameron Wake get new Madden 20 Veterans cards
Wide receiver Golden Tate III has been catching passes from some of the game’s top quarterbacks throughout his career. He started off with Russell Wilson and the Seattle Seahawks, playing three seasons there and winning a Super Bowl. Next, he was amongst the favorite targets for the Detroit Lions’ Matthew Stafford. This season, Tate has been doing his best to help the New York Giants as they transition from Eli Manning to newcomer Daniel Jones.
In the video game, Tate receives a new Madden 20 Veterans item with 89 overall rating and Power Up in Ultimate Team. Tate’s key attributes include 88 Jumping, 87 Speed, 86 Short Route Run, and 84 Catching. Joining him is left outside linebacker Cameron Wake who has been in the league since 2009.
Wake played the majority of his career with the Dolphins before recently joining the Titans’ defense. Wake’s card includes 90 Power Moves, 87 Play Recognition, 87 Acceleration, and 86 Strength.
Costs to get the new Ultimate Team items
Gamers can obtain the new Madden 20 Veterans cards randomly through packs in Ultimate Team Store. Veterans packs sell for 2,000 Madden Training currency and have one random 88-or-better OVR Veterans player inside. That could be Tate or Wake, or another player.
The other option is to hit the Madden 20 Auction Browser. As of this report, there was only one Golden Tate III Veterans card listing on the PS4 version of the game. It had a starting bid of 135,000 Coins and a Buy Now price of 136,250 Coins.
There were plenty of active listings for Wake’s card. Starting bid amounts were in a range of 52,500 Coins to 95,500 Coins. The Buy Now prices were from 53,250 Coins to 96,250 Coins on the PS4 version of the game.
