Madden 21 Club Championship Results: JWall Battles Pavan in $150K Tournament Final

It came down to a battle of two behemoths in the Madden 21 Club Championship results on Friday. Once the dust had settled one competitor stood above the rest, winning the Madden belt and a cool $150,000 in prize money. The final came down to Jacob Wallack representing the Detroit Lions against former belt winner Pavan Lakhat for the Oakland Raiders, providing a thrilling conclusion to the tournament.

Madden 21 Club Championship final features Lions vs. Raiders battle

After months of preparation and weeks of getting it done on the virtual gridiron, the Madden 21 Club Championship final arrived. After defeating his friend Fancy, Pavan advanced to compete for another championship belt. Meanwhile, this season’s inaugural Madden College champion, JWall, looked to get his first major victory.

Through most of the first half, the game was a scoreless defensive affair. However, the Madden 19 Club Championship winner Pavan finally got on the board just before the end of the half, going up 3-0 on a field goal.

It wasn’t long before JWall showed up in the second half. A long bomb to one of the game’s top stars, the legendary Randy Moss, put him up 7-3.

Pavan would do his best to guide his offense towards a touchdown, but had to settle for yet another field goal. That kept it a one-score affair, but at 14-6, he’d have to get a stop and then a touchdown with the two-point conversion.

Unfortunately, that wasn’t in the books for the Raiders gaming star. After a key interception from JWall, he broke loose with Lions legend Barry Sanders for a huge run down the field. The rest was just kneeling it down with time ticking away until Pavan conceded the game.

Jwall claims belt, $150K with tournament win

With the win, JWall emerges as the Madden 21 Club Championship winner, gaining the fame of the victory along with that shiny Madden belt, and of course, $150,000 in prize money.

Here’s a look at the completed bracket for the MCS tournament:

When asked by the Madden 21 Club Championship panel about his plans for spending the $150K, JWall had to think it over. He mentioned that he owed fellow competitor Freethepenguins a parka based on an agreement. In addition to that, JWall remarked that he could use a haircut so “parka and a haircut it is.”

While that wraps up this particular event, there are several more on the way. Tuesday, February 9 will bring the Derwin Bowl onto Twitch, just days after Super Bowl LV. Derwin James actually presented a look at the Madden 21 Club Championship belt via video to the winner JWall on Friday. The Los Angeles Chargers safety also mentioned he would see him at the Derwin Bowl.

There will also be the first-ever Madden 21 The Yard Invitational set to take place on March 5-6 on Twitch and YouTube. This will feature Madden’s newest game mode, The Yard, so it should be interesting to see how that shakes out.
