As the NFL Playoffs are in full swing, Madden 21 Team of the Week has brought gamers the TOTW players for weeks 16 and 17 of the season. The latest content release arrived on Tuesday, January 19, and included Offense and Defense Hero cards as well as Player of the Week and LTDs. Among the latest star players were the Cowboys’ Dak Prescott and Saints’ Jared Cook.

Madden 21 Team of the Week 16 includes Jared Cook, Jamison Crowder

Madden 21 Team of the Week 16 gives the best card of the bunch to current New Orleans Saints tight end Jared Cook. While his team lost in the NFC Divisional Round this past weekend, Cook still gets an LTD TOTW card from his days on the Tennessee Titans. Fumble jokes aside, he provides gamers a new tight end with 97 Spectacular Catch, 96 Catch in Traffic, 95 Short Route Run, 94 Catching, and 91 Speed.

Joining Cook as TOTW 16 Player of the Week is Michael Gallup with a 95 OVR card. The Cowboys wide receiver has 95 Catch in Traffic, 95 Spectacular Catch, 94 Speed, and 94 Jumping.

The Offense Hero for Week 16 is Santana Moss, while former Carolina Panthers star Luke Kuechly is Defense Hero. Both players receive 95 OVR cards which could give their respective theme teams or MUT rosters a nice boost.

Dak Prescott, J.K. Dobbins among TOTW 17 players

For Madden 21 Team of the Week 17, the Dallas Cowboys’ field general Dak Prescott gets the LTD. Just like Cook, Prescott has a 96 OVR card. The Dallas QB’s attributes include 96 Short Accuracy, 95 Running, 94 Deep Accuracy, 94 Play Action, 94 Medium Accuracy, 94 Throw Power, and 93 Throw Under Pressure. Dad also gets an 88 Speed for a bit of mobility.

For the Player of the Week in TOTW 17, it’s halfback Jonathan Taylor of the Indianapolis Colts. His newest MUT item features 95 OVR with 95 Carrying, 94 Speed, 94 Acceleration, 94 Break Tackle, 90 Agility, and 89 Change of Direction attributes. Taylor is an Elusive Halfback archetype.

The Offense and Defense Hero players are Jamaal Charles and Shaun Ellis. Here’s a look at who else was included in the TOTW 17 lineup.

New challenges and sets available for TOTW 16 and 17

As with previous weeks, there will also be new challenges and exchange sets for Madden 21 Team of the Week 16 and TOTW 17. Each week brings a Game of the Week in which gamers can test their Ultimate Team in. A win brings rewards including Coins, TOTY tokens, and a Hot Streak Pack option to pick up more Coins.

For the Week 16 Challenge, gamers are participating in the Cowboys vs. Philadelphia Eagles matchup. Week 17 brings a challenge featuring the Indianapolis Colts vs. Jacksonville Jaguars.

There are four exchange sets for each of the new Team of the Week drops. These allow for trading to get a random 84-92 OVR TOTW player, the Defense Hero, Offense Hero, and Player of the Week. LTDs are found randomly in packs for a limited time, or at the Auction House.

The latest content joins other promotions in the game including new MUT Legends and NFL Playoffs items released in the past several weeks.
