Madden 21 Ultimate Team Adds LTD Dan Marino, Night Train Lane Cards
Madden 21 Ultimate Team continues to gain high-powered player items that gamers can add to improve their squads. On Saturday, four brand new cards arrived into the mode, including limited items for two of the game’s all-time greats. For the defensive side, Night Train Lane arrived with a new 97 overall item. On the offensive side, one of the legends at QB, Dan Marino, also received a new 97 OVR item.
Madden 21 Ultimate Team adds LTD Ultimate Legends Dan Marino
Over the course of the season, Madden 21 Ultimate Team featured Legends players with various high-rated cards. Once that concluded, MUT began to feature Ultimate Legends. The first of those releases brought 10 players to the game with newly upgraded items including Mean Joe Greene, Brain Dawkins, and Randall Cunningham.
Group 3 arrived on Saturday, February 27, and included one of the best quarterbacks not named Tom Brady or Joe Montana. Dan Marino gets a new LTD item with a 97 OVR as part of the rating. The LTD items are typically found in packs for just 48 hours. They’ll also be available after that on the Madden Auction listings, for a high price.
Marino’s new item features attributes such as 97 Throw Power, 97 Throw Under Pressure, 96 Deep Accuracy, and 95s for Short/Medium Accuracy.
In addition to the above Marino card, former Indianapolis Colts halfback Marvin Harrison, and former New England Patriots safety Rodney Harrison. Each player has new Ultimate Legends Challenges along with Power Ups and a series of new items available. Their top cards, aka Ultimate Legends Boss cards, have ratings of 97 OVR each.
Gamers can acquire the above cards through packs randomly. Alternately, the cards are available for bids on the Auction House, or throught completing exchange sets. In order to complete a set for either player, gamers need to get four of their 87 OVR cards, four of their 91 OVR cards, and one of their 95 OVR cards.
LTD Night Train Lane to join All-Rookie promotion
In a tweet on Saturday, Madden Ultimate Team announced a new LTD player will join the All-Rookie promotion. It’s defensive star Night Train Lane with a new 97 OVR card.
As many MUT fans know, his Autumn Blast item was one of the top defensive cards to have earlier this season. The all-time great corner’s upgraded item will feature 96 Man Coverage, 96 Acceleration, 95 Agility, and 95 Speed.
Lane’s LTD item will be randomly available through packs in the Madden Store for 48 hours. In addition, gamers can purchase it through listings on the Auction House. Lane joins the other All-Rookie LTD release which was Edgerrin James of the Indianapolis Colts.
Among the available Store Offers are an All-Rookie Starter Bundle for 1,050 Madden Points, a 90+ OVR All-Rookie Player for 9,250 Training, and 90+ OVR All-Rookie Player for 215 Trophies.
