Madden 22 Zero Chill: How to Get Free Calvin Johnson Card in Ultimate Team
Megatron himself is back in Madden’s Ultimate Team mode! That’s right, Calvin Johnson is available for MUT rosters. The former Detroit Lions star receiver is part of the Madden 22 Zero Chill promotion, which features upgraded cards for players. Gamers can add a free version of Calvin Johnson to their Ultimate Team rosters. Here are the full details on getting the new Zero Chill item added to your squad.

With each big promotion that EA rolls out for the Madden video game, there’s typically a sweet welcome pack for Ultimate Team. Those packs usually include a free player item for Ultimate Team just for logging in.
With Madden 22 Zero Chill promo, many gamers will receive a Welcome Pack featuring an 86 overall Peyton Manning card. If you’re in need of a decent QB, then that may be a great card for your MUT. However, most won’t need it and can Quicksell the item for 4,400 Snowflakes to use in Zero Chill.
There’s a better version of Manning available, as revealed in the teaser clip below. It’s a 95 overall card that features Hot Route Master and Gunslinger abilities when powered up. That’s the only QB in MUT who can get both.
In addition to that free card, there’s another available, with a free Calvin Johnson 92 OVR card, but it will require some steps to acquire. The Calvin Johnson Zero chill is an Out of Position (OOP) card with the receiver in the free safety position. Gamers have seen this with previous Madden games putting Megatron in that defensive roster area.
Megatron also has another card in the promo. Johnson’s 95 OVR Zero Chill item includes 95 Play Recognition, Jumping, Awareness, and Agility attributes. There’s also 93 Speed, 92 Acceleration, and 93 Zone Coverage. The card has a power-up already included in the item. To power up Johnson, you’ll just spend Madden Training to boost his OVR by one point.
In addition, Zero Chill has a variety of other star players with new cards recently added to the game. Those include 92 OVR Cordarrelle Patterson and 90 OVR Randy Moss. We may see several more Zero Chill players in the days/weeks ahead for Ultimate Team.
How to get free Calvin Johnson card in Ultimate Team mode
EA revealed there’s a free Madden 22 Zero Chill Calvin Johnson card on Friday, December 10. It’s a 92 overall card with Megatron playing Free Safety. If you’ve already got a card of Johnson on your team at receiver, now you can also have him on defense.
In order to get the Zero Chill item, gamers need to have an active EA account (which Ultimate Team requires). In addition, you’ll need to be an Amazon Prime member and have Prime Gaming activated, with your EA account linked to Prime.

This special Madden 22 offer includes 12 Prime Gaming reward packs, 1 per month over a 12-month period. The newest Zero Chill pack includes 1x 92 OVR Calvin Johnson (NCAT Player).
