New Man of Match FIFA 20 Cards, Team of the Week Return Date Revealed
EA Sports’ FIFA 20 has been providing Ultimate Team fans plenty of content, despite the fact that many football seasons were postponed. They’ve unveiled Team of the Season So Far lineups, giving upgraded items to the best players in the world. In addition, they’ve started bringing out Man of Match FIFA 20 cards for deserving players in leagues that are back in action.
Team of the Week to Return in FIFA
On Wednesday, EA revealed that the weekly Team of the Week is scheduled to return on June 24. This is due to many football leagues either resuming play or preparing to restart. The FIFA Direct Communication Twitter unveiled a statement (below) about bringing the content back into Ultimate Team with details about Weekend League rewards too.
With FIFA Team of the Week, deserving players get special new high-rated cards for real-world performances in matches. From there, gamers can acquire those cards through FUT packs or the Transfer Market. In addition, the Team of the Week becomes a squad that gamers can put their own Ultimate Team lineup against in the game for rewards.
Even though TOTW Moments was a nice replacement, mark the calendar for June 24 as we should finally see the return of the popular content.
New Man of Match FIFA 20 cards unveiled
As fans await the new Team of the Week, there is still plenty of content to go after in the game. The recent Rest of World Team of Season So Far brought new players high-rated cards, along with Objectives and SBC. In addition, EA revealed new Man of Match FIFA 20 cards on June 10.
A total of eight players received the new cards as shown below.
- LB Rene Lange (FSV Zwickau) 75 OVR
- ST1 Tomas Pekhart (Legia Warszawa) 76 OVR
- ST2 Cory Burke (SKN St. Pölten) 77 OVR
- ST3 Patson Daka (Red Bull Salzburg) 78 OVR
- RM Lee Chung Young (Ulsan Hyundai) 79 OVR
- CB Emre Can (Borussia Dortmund) 84 OVR
- LB Philipp Max (FC Augsburg) 86 OVR
- CM Leon Goretzka (Bayern München) 87 OVR
The above MOTM cards are now available through FIFA’s Ultimate Team mode in FUT packs. In addition, gamers can buy specific player items through the Transfer Market using Coins. Stay tuned as more content arrives in the coming days leading up to June 24’s return of TOTW!
