With the live event only two days away, this is going to hype players even more. However, keep in mind that the leaked trailer also shows the Cube Queen and it contains possible event spoilers as well.
There is a good chance that Epic Games leaked this trailer on purpose. After all, the Fortnite developer is well known for hyping things up, especially new seasons. This time, we are getting a new chapter, not just a new season, so the hype is even bigger!
The Fortnite Chapter 3 trailer is out
TikTok user sponsoredcontent16275 shared a Fortnite Chapter 3 trailer on December 2. The video was posted early in the morning and it has quickly spread all over the internet. According to leakers, this is the account that has posted some legitimate leaks in the past.
As you can see in the video above, the leaked trailer starts with the Chapter 2 map and characters. We can see Turk, Journey, Rippley, and 8-Ball on the island. All of a sudden, a huge explosion happens and we see Jonesy in the water. There are a lot of details in the sky, however, the most important part is the island in front of him and the Cube Queen.
The Cube Queen emits a shockwave and a beam into the sky, flipping the entire island to the other side before disappearing. In the final shot, we can see the flood approaching Jonesy, indicating that the new map could have big water areas. The Fortnite Chapter 3 map leak from a few weeks ago might turn out to be true, after all!
The live event
The leaked Fortnite Chapter 3 trailer contains spoilers for the upcoming live event. During the event, the Cube Queen will most likely flip the island and bring the new map to the game. However, we still don’t know what’s on the other side! It could be a whole new map, but it could also be the Chapter 1 map.
The live event is starting on Saturday, December 4. It will start at 4 PM Eastern Time, so make sure you get online at least 30 minutes earlier to reserve a spot!
