The latest Fortnite leak was massive! It appears that Epic Games has accidentally leaked the video that was meant to be a teaser for Chapter 3. The video reveals many new things that will come to the game, including the original map. Many players have been asking Epic to bring this map back, and it appears that the game developer will do just that.

The leak came out on December 2 and it has quickly spread over the internet. There are many new theories about Chapter 3 thanks to this leak, but most players are excited about the old map. Considering that the new chapter is close, we might see the original map very soon! Keep in mind, this article contains spoilers. If you don’t want the live event or the new chapter to be spoiled, please stop reading immediately.

The leaked video showed the current Fortnite Battle Royale island during what looks like the upcoming live event. It shows the Cube Queen and her interaction with the island that results in a shockwave. Right after this shockwave, the island flips and we can see a glimpse of the original island!

Many Fortnite players spotted the desert biome in the video. This is the biome that was released to the game back in Season 5 of Chapter 1 and it brought some amazing places like Paradise Palms and Little Mexico.

As many players remember, the desert biome was located in the southeastern corner of the Chapter 1 map. Before the flipping part, the video shows the snow biome of the current Fortnite map, which is also located in the southeastern part of the island.

The original map is most likely coming back

The Cube Queen will probably flip the entire island during the event, making it revert to the Chapter 1 map. However, it will be interesting to see if Epic Games keeps the original map or makes some changes to it. There’s a chance that the two maps will keep flipping/rotating every few hours, allowing players to play both of them.

The Chapter 1 map will probably return to Fortnite, but it may not start as the very first map.
