If you want to save on video games for Xbox or PC this holiday season, we have some thrilling news for you. Microsoft wants to motivate people to shop. So, they are giving out free gift cards to use at the Microsoft Store. If you are lucky enough to get a free gift card, you will have a $10 credit to spend how you choose.
How to Get the Free Gift Cards
How does the free offer work? Well, we don’t know how Microsoft is picking users. It appears that selection is random. So, there is nothing which you can do to make it more likely that you will receive one of the free gift cards.
But, what you can do is keep an eye out to see if you have received one. Microsoft is sending notifications of the gift cards via email. If you get one, the subject line should read, “Get a free $10 gift card before they’re gone.”
We don’t know how many gift cards in total were sent out. Also, we don’t know if Microsoft plans to send out more. But, we are guessing that what is out there now is all that there will be. If you don’t see the email in your inbox, try taking a look in your spam folder. It is possible that the email could end up there, even if you have tried to whitelist Microsoft. If you do find a gift card, make sure to act on it fast, as it could expire quickly.
