MLB The Show 20 Wishlist: Features We’d Like to See

We’ve been having a blast playing MLB The Show 19 since its release back in March. Of course, that means we have a while to wait yet before the next installment in the series. But it is never too early to start speculating about the possibilities or daydreaming about the changes and additions we’d like to see. So let’s go over our MLB The Show 20 wishlist!

Our MLB The Show 20 Wishlist

1. Franchise Mode

For a lot of us, Franchise Mode is the area where we want to see the most in terms of improvements in MLB The Show 20. Because let’s face it—it was one of the more neglected parts of MLB The Show 19.

Franchise mode in The Show 19 is enjoyable, but it wasn’t much of an improvement over the previous year. What would we like to see next year? More customization for rosters would be a good start, along with additional minor leagues. It would also be helpful if it were a bit more intuitive to use scouting. And the trade screen as it stands is practically being wasted. Let’s see more info on this screen next year.

That isn’t even an exhaustive list of what needs to be upgraded or fixed in Franchise mode next year. We could probably list a dozen more things if we wanted to. But it’s a start. Let’s just hope that we see a start on those improvements next year. But with the labor issues going on in the real world right now, who knows what will happen in the real league or in the game?

2. Diamond Dynasty

There is a lot to like about Diamond Dynasty as it stands, and it’s one area where we don’t have a lot of complaints. In fact, Franchise mode could take some queues from this mode when it comes to team creation. But some adjustments to player caps might be in order to improve Diamond Dynasty in the next edition of MLB The Show.

3. RTTS

In general, we could simply use more control in RTTS. Why can’t we pick stadiums as things stand now? There is also not nearly enough freedom in terms of how we spend our salaries. RTTS would be much improved simply by offering more options in both respects.

Needless to say, this is really just a start to our wishlist. As we get closer to the next instalment to MLB The Show, we are bound to add more items to our MLB The Show 20 wishlist. After all, with the season coming to an end, we won’t be able to stream MLB online free, and we are going to end up with a lot of extra time on our hands. So we’ll stay busy updating our MLB The Show section here on VGR. So check back in again regularly over the months ahead for more news and updates on the series and next year’s forthcoming installment!
