NBA 2K19 MyTeam Brings 20th Anniversary Super Pack Series With James Harden, Paul George Opal Cards
While NBA 2K20 is still under two months away, the NBA 2K19 MyTeam content continues. The latest pack offers 2K19 gamers a way to complete collections of their NBA 2K19 20th Anniversary series cards. Among the stars included are All-Stars James Harden and Paul George. The new NBA 2K19 MyTeam Packs also offer a special MyTeam Tokens bonus for achieving a certain level of collections.
Who’s in NBA 2K19 MyTeam Packs for 20th Anniversary Super Pack Series?
The new NBA 2K19 MyTeam packs for 20th Anniversary Super Series boast many of the stars of today and yesterday. That includes Los Angeles Lakers greats Magic Johnson and Kobe Bryant, as well as fellow Hall of Famer Shaquille O’Neal. Reigning NBA MVP Giannis Antetokounmpo is also there along with upcoming Brooklyn Nets stars Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.
In the MyTeam tweet, they also boast of Galaxy Opal cards for Chris Paul in 20th Anniversary Series I, Blake Griffin for Series II, and Shaq for Series III. These are listed as part of special collections which can help earn a reward.
Completing all three collections of the NBA 2K19 MyTeam 20th Anniversary Series cards will result in a total of 3,000 MyTeam Tokens. That can help purchase other content in the game such as player cards to complete specific collections.
Of note, when we checked out the MyTeam Market to see what “Limited Time Cards” were part of the 20th Anniversary Super Series, we didn’t see Chris Paul listed. However, James Harden was showing up among the Galaxy Opal cards. There was also a Paul George Galaxy Opal. Other players with GO cards included, Kevin Garnett (Celtics), and Derrick Rose (Bulls).
Shaq is listed amongst the player cards on the limited time screen as a Pink Diamond with a 99 OVR. Blake Griffin was also there as a 96 Pink Diamond. Other Pink Diamond cards include Michael Jordan, Anthony Davis, and Allen Iverson. Card ratings go as low as 93 overall for a Ben Wallace card in the limited time offerings.
How to get these packs and player cards
With the latest packs, gamers need to go into the NBA 2K19 MyTeam mode and head to the MyTeam Pack Market. In this area, all available packs will be on display including the MyTeam 20th Anniversary Super Series. For a cost of 11,250 Virtual Currency, one can acquire a five-card pack at MyTeam Market. For 10 packs, it will cost 101,250 VC and 20 packs will cost 202,500 VC.
One other way to acquire these NBA 2K19 MyTeam cards is through the Auction House. Gamers put various player cards up for auction, so be prepared to spend a good bit of MT for the specific player card you want. Here’s a look at the latest James Harden Galaxy Opal auctions as of this report with some bid prices moving past 160,000 MT.
If nothing else, gamers who are killing time this summer until NBA 2K20 is finally out, will now have more options to build up their team.
