NBA 2K20 Screenshots Preview Brooklyn Nets’ Kyrie Irving & Kevin Durant, Other All-Star Players

When it comes to dynamic duos for the NBA, one that is talked about ahead of their official debut will be Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant. The two NBA free agents chose to go to the Brooklyn Nets to team up and attempt to run the Eastern Conference. Over the past day or so, there have been new NBA 2K20 screenshots that put the spotlight on this duo and several other All-Stars. Here’s the first looks at KD and Kyrie along with other players in the upcoming basketball title.

NBA 2K20 screenshots include All-Star players Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving

With the NBA 2K20 ratings reveal coming for the players on Monday night, the 2K folks have been teasing fans with new screenshots. Earlier on Monday, the Nets’ pairing of Kyrie and KD showed up on the various NBA 2K20 social media channels. This is the first look of how they’ll appear on the virtual courts in the upcoming game. Players seem like they will be able to use Kevin Durant from the get-go, whereas he won’t be appearing this season, based on reports about his injury recovery situation.

For the NBA 2K19 ratings, Durant was rated amongst the top players in the league. His 95 overall had him tied with former Warriors teammate Stephen Curry and this year’s NBA Finals MVP Kawhi Leonard. LeBron James, Giannis Antetokounmpo, and James Harden ranked above them at 96 overall. It’s going to be interesting to see where KD rates for the new game based on the injury he’s healing from.

As far as Kyrie Irving, he had high expectations in Boston with the Celtics which didn’t pan out. Now, he’ll try to run the show in Brooklyn, without KD available yet. He should still be able to do some impressive things with the talent that’s on the Nets. Kyrie rated at a 92 in 2K19, making him one of the top three point guards in the game. Kyrie was only rated below Stephen Curry and was tied with the Portland Trail Blazers’ Damian Lillard.

Damian Lillard, Karl-Anthony Towns images

Speaking of the Trail Blazers All-Star, Lillard was also unveiled amongst recent NBA 2K20 screenshots. The Portland point guard showed what he’s capable of in last year’s playoffs run. Most likely, Lillard could find himself the recipient of a ratings boost when the NBA 2K20 numbers are revealed.

Karl-Anthony Towns of the Minnesota Timberwolves is another player we mentioned in our NBA 2K20 ratings predictions. He’s right on the cusp of joining the top 10 players in the league. KAT has been racking up monstrous double-doubles since last season’s All-Star appearance and could be on pace for another big season. With KD possibly sliding due to injury, could Towns make the move?

Here’s the first look at Minnesota’s center in one of the new NBA 2K20 screenshots. The Wolves’ big man was rated 91 in 2K19, trailing only the Nuggets’ Nikola Jokic (92) and Sixers star Joel Embiid (93) in the center category.

First look at PG13, Kawhi for Clippers

Last but not least, the NBA 2K20 screenshots included one other All-Star duo that is going to get a lot of attention this season. The Los Angeles Lakers boast LeBron James and Anthony Davis, but the Clippers are also intriguing. Since Kawhi Leonard left the Raptors after winning his second NBA title, he’s enlisted the help of Paul George. Thanks to a trade with OKC, the Clippers made it happen.

In NBA 2K19, Kawhi was rated at 95 and PG13 was rated as a 93. One of them was a finalist for NBA MVP and the other won NBA Finals MVP! It’s going to be super interesting to see where these new Clippers All-Stars land when the new ratings arrive on Monday night!
