The NBA 2K19 MyTeam is rolling along as the NBA season continues. Ahead of an anticipated Warriors vs. Thunder matchup on Saturday (Mar. 16), they’ve announced a unique Moments Challenge. Paul George is the main attraction in the challenge, based on his superb scoring abilities. Speaking of superb abilities, they also unveiled some new anniversary packs in the game in honor of Larry Legend. Here are the latest details on what’s going down in NBA 2K19 MyTeam mode.

NBA 2K19 MyTeam: Paul George Moments Challenge details

Oklahoma City hosts Golden State in a marquee matchup on Saturday night. That game will feature two of the top five teams in the Western Conference. As of this report, OKC is trying to get into that No. 4 spot that Portland has, so a win tonight would be huge. A big performance from Paul George could help them achieve that, as well as help them make a deep run in the postseason.

To hammer that point home like George hammers the rim with his dunks, NBA 2K19 MyTeam has a new Moments Challenge. It involves using any MyTeam version of Paul George in a game against the Oklahoma City Thunder. The objective is to score 40 points with PG13. Seems simple enough, right? You’ll also have to do this on All-Star difficulty level.

You’ll need to fire up NBA 2K19, go to MyTeam mode, and select the Single Player. From there, head to the Challenges and Moments Challenges. You’ll see the different challenges available including the Paul George mission. If you can beat that challenge, your reward is 10 Tokens added to your current collection of earnings in the game.

NBA 2K19 MyTeam: Larry Bird 20th Anniversary packs

Larry Bird aka “Larry Legend” is known for his impressive basketball abilities as he starred for the Boston Celtics. As a tribute, the NBA 2K19 MyTeam crew revealed that Friday (Mar. 15) was Larry Bird Day. In honor of the Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer and multiple-time NBA champion, they unveiled a promotional video below. It shows off Larry in action in the game, but also revealed the availability of new Larry Bird 20th Anniversary packs. They start at 7,500 VC or 10,500 MT for a single pack.

There is a Larry Bird Pink Diamond card available now for gamers who want the skilled sharpshooter on their squad. Previously, fans were able to check out the LeBron James 20th Anniversary packs. These new Larry Bird packs feature a number of different stars that gamers can pull beyond just the Celtics great. Others mentioned are a Pink Diamond Clyde Drexler and Diamond Gordon Hayward.
