NBA 2K19 MyTeam Cards: 20th Anniversary Stephen Curry Packs Bring New Diamonds
The NBA season has ended and the playoffs are on the way. Meanwhile, the fun continues within the NBA 2K19 MyTeam mode. Just recently, the NBA 2K folks rolled out exciting new content surrounding retired stars Dwyane Wade and Dirk Nowitzki. They also put re-released all of the Diamond Moments cards from the past season in packs. Now, the Golden State Warriors’ Stephen Curry is part of a new NBA 2K19 MyTeam 20th Anniversary promotion.
Stephen Curry 20th Anniversary Packs arrive
The NBA 2K19 MyTeam folks have proclaimed Friday (Apr. 12) as “Chef Curry Day.” Chef Curry is, of course, the nickname for two-time NBA MVP and three-time NBA champion, Stephen Curry. As part of the celebration of this virtual holiday, they’ve also released forth some packs called 20th Anniversary Stephen Curry packs.
The new NBA 2K19 MyTeam 20th Anniversary packs are full of potential goodness too. Not only do they feature one of the league’s top scorers and most popular stars in Pink Diamond mode, but there are other stars available. Among them are former Warriors’ All-Stars Baron Davis and Antawn Jamison. In addition, Curry’s dad Dell and brother Seth have cards in the packs.
Curry joins other 20th Anniversary pack stars including his own teammate Kevin Durant and rival LeBron James. The new packs are available at the MyTeam Pack Market in NBA 2K19 with a starting cost of 7,500 Virtual Currency or 10,500 MT. Each of those packs has a chance at a 98 Pink Diamond Curry.
There are other limited time cards available in the packs. Those include the Pink Diamond Baron Davis (98), Pink Diamond Antawn Jamison (97), and Diamond Dell Curry (95). There’s also an Amethyst Manute Bol (92) and Ruby Seth Curry (89).
These latest packs are also amongst other offerings at the Pack Market. Those include the League Moments and Heat Check packs which both have a chance at a D-Wade or Dirk Diamonds inside.
