NBA 2K19 MyTeam Dynamic Duos Packs Bring Anthony Davis & LeBron James, Other New All-Star Pairs
The past summer has been busy in the NBA thanks to the 2019 Draft, trades, and free agency shaking up many rosters. It’s created a variety of new All-Star pairings across the league including the Los Angeles Lakers with Anthony Davis and LeBron James, as well as the Clippers with Kawhi and PG13. Those are just two of the many star duos, which are now being honored by NBA 2K19 MyTeam Dynamic Duos packs in the game.

Just a day ago, fans learned that NBA 2K20 cover star Anthony Davis will help usher in the new 2K game’s player ratings via live stream. Ahead of that, gamers are still testing out the new pairing of Davis and King James on the Lakers. They’re among the featured stars in the NBA 2K19 MyTeam Duos Packs now available. The new packs provide gamers with the ability to get some of the best MyTeam cards in the game for the superstars. When combined on MyTeam in the lineup, they become even better.
NBA 2K19 MyTeam tweeted out a promotional image showing off James with AD, as well as Kawhi Leonard and Paul George. There’s also the upcoming Brooklyn Nets star pairing of Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.
Those are just three of the total 26 pairings available through the NBA 2K19 MyTeam Dynamic Duos packs. Also included are Utah’s Mike Conley and Donovan Mitchell, New Orleans’ Lonzo Ball and JJ Redick, as well as Boston’s Kemba Walker and Jayson Tatum.
It’s worth mentioning that a chart provided by NBA 2K shows off players’ “Old OVR” and then a “New OVR.” Many of the players went up to 99 OVRs, with just a few getting to 97. They include the following players’ cards:
- Mike Conley – Moments (94 to 97)
- Jimmy Butler – Playoffs Moments (94 to 97)
- Kemba Walker – Moments (96 to 98)
- JJ Redick – Madness (94 to 97)
- Karl Malone – Throwback Playoffs Moments (97 to 98)
- Steve Nash – Throwback Elite (92 to 97)
- Elgin Baylor – Throwback Elite (97 to 98)

How to get the Duos’ player cards in 2K19
NBA 2K19 MyTeam Dynamic Duos cards are available in a few ways. One option is to head into the MyTeam Market and spend Virtual Currency or MyTeam Tokens. The packs start at a cost of 9,375 VC or 12,000 MT for a single pack of five cards. They contain a guaranteed Dynamic Duo player n them. For 84,375 VC, gamers can purchase 10 packs. For 168,750 VC, there’s the option to buy 20 packs.
The other way to get the NBA 2K19 MyTeam Dynamic Duos cards is through the Auction House. It gets costly depending on who the player is, so keep that in mind. Also, the auctions work with MyTeam Tokens only. Here’s a look at that LeBron James Signature Series card in recent auctions.
