NBA 2K19 MyTeam Hall Of Famers Packs Include Bill Russell, Ray Allen Amongst Diamond Cards
The Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame is a special honor for NBA players who excelled on the court during their careers. During NBA All-Star Weekend in Charlotte, finalists for the 2019 class were announced including Chris Webber, Ben Wallace, and more. The final inductees will be revealed during this weekend’s NCAA Final Four games. Meanwhile, NBA 2K19 MyTeam Hall of Famers packs are available in the game with some current Hall of Famers inside.
Bill Russell, Ray Allen Headline NBA 2K19 MyTeam Hall of Famers Packs
Not long ago we saw brand new Kevin Durant 20th Anniversary Packs. He will likely be amongst future Hall of Famers. A trio of Pink Diamond MyTeam Hall of Famers cards leads the way for the newer NBA 2K19 packs. At the top of them, all is the champion of champions, the legendary Bill Russell. The former Boston Celtics center has a 98 OVR card. It makes sense as he also has the most championship rings amongst Hall of Famers with 11 total.
Joining Mr. Russell are Ray Allen and Tracy McGrady. Both players were multiple-time All-Star representatives and made it into the Hall of Fame. Of the two, Allen has two NBA Championship rings, while T-Mac never quite achieved one. Still, both are deserving HOFers with 97 Pink Diamond cards available in the packs. So gamers will be trying to cop one of the game’s best scorers and one of the game’s all-time best shooters.
A video from the NBA 2K19 MyTeam Twitter shows off some of the other Hall of Famers who may be in the packs. Among them is the legendary Utah Jazz scorer, Karl “The Mailman” Malone.
One of the other players seen in the video above is former Houston Rockets star Hakeem “The Dream” Olajuwon. He is one of three Diamond Hall of Fame cards shown in the Pack Market and brings a score of 95. Joining him are former Knicks standout Richie Guerin and Spurs star David Robinson.
The NBA 2K19 MyTeam Hall of Famers packs start at 11,250 Virtual Currency (or 10,500 MT) for a single pack. That includes one player and four items with a shot to get one of the Hall of Famers cards.
