NBA 2K19 MyTeam Moments Cards For JaVale McGee, D’Angelo Russell In Packs For Limited Time

The NBA 2K19 MyTeam crew dropped some brand new Moments cards on Monday and despite a tough season, one Los Angeles Lakers player is getting some credit due. That’s big man JaVale McGee, who has been among the bright spots for a team struggling this season. There are also brand new cards for the reigning NBA MVP and the Nets’ All-Star D’Angelo Russell. Here are the latest details on the NBA 2K19 MyTeam Moments cards in the game.

NBA 2K19 MyTeam Moments Cards: Harden, Russell lead the way

We learned of four new NBA 2K19 Moments player cards on Monday including the Houston Rockets’ James Harden and Brooklyn’s D’Angelo Russell. Harden sports the 98 rating on his Pink Diamond card, while Russell brings a 96. Of the two players, Russell earned his Moments card for Mar. 19 when he took over in the fourth quarter and helped the Nets defeat the Kings, 123-121. The All-Star guard finished the game with 44 points, 12 assists, and four rebounds.

It’s no surprise to see James Harden included with a new Moments card, once again. His season has been legendary based on the multiple games scoring big. He’s among frontrunners for NBA MVP, once again, and has the Rockets looking like contenders again in the West. His new NBA 2K19 Moments card arrives for Mar. 22 when he scored a staggering 61 points in a 111-105 Houston win over the Spurs. So, that definitely is deserving of a new Moments card!

Los Angeles Lakers fans, rejoice! No, your team isn’t heading to the NBA Playoffs, but one of their unsung heroes finally gets a Moments card. JaVale McGee came up with a big performance for his team on Mar. 22 as well. The big man had 33 points and 20 rebounds for the Lakers in a loss to Russell’s Brooklyn Nets. Still, those sort of numbers seem like the types one sees Karl-Anthony Towns getting on a regular basis. Well done by McGee, as he gets the 95-rated Diamond Moments card.

We also get the Memphis Grizzlies’ big man Jonas Valanciunas with a 93 Diamond card. He’s another of the players who performed well on Mar. 22, with 23 points and 24 boards in a loss to the Orlando Magic.

The new Moments cards are now available in Heat Check or Moments packs at the Packs Market. They’ll only be there until Wednesday, though, so it’s best to purchase packs or look to the Auction House for the NBA 2K19 player card you want.
