NBA 2K20 MyTeam Adds Kareem Spotlight Packs, New Challenge with PD Giannis Reward
All-time great Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is the headlining star for the latest edition of NBA 2K20 MyTeam Spotlight packs. The Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer has his name as part of the packs while plenty of other former Lakers stars are among the new cards available inside. That includes James Worthy, Jerry West, and Michael Cooper. Here’s the rundown on the newest packs available for NBA 2K20 MyTeam.
NBA 2K20 MyTeam reveals new Kareem Spotlight packs
The new Spotlight Packs in NBA 2K20 MyTeam continue the tradition of placing a star player’s likeness on the packs and boxes. Kareem Abdul-Jabbar isn’t inside the packs in any of the new cards, but there are 13 other player items inside ranging from an Emerald Kurt Rambis all the way up to Pink Diamond Gary Payton. In addition, there are stars like Jerry West, Jamaal Wilkes, and Oscar Robertson with new Diamond cards.

New Kareem Spotlight Challenges available:
There’s also a new set of Kareem Spotlight Challenges which have a nice Spotlite Elite Reward. It’s a Pink Diamond Giannis Antetokounmpo that plenty of gamers are already looking to get so they can add one of the best players in the game today to their NBA 2K20 MyTeam lineups. Based on NBA 2K20 MyTeam’s tweet, there is a Sapphire Kareem EVO card available upon completion of the first part of his Spotlite Challenges.
Where to get new cards, collection reward
The NBA 2K20 MyTeam Market features six different options that gamers can spend Virtual Currency (VC) or MT on. Packs typically bring a chance of landing a Kareem Spotlight card for one of the players listed above.

- Base Pack: 3,000 VC or 3,750 MT
- Standard Pack: 7,000 VC or 10,000 MT
- Deluxe Pack: 9,375 VC or 12,000 MT
- 10-Pack Standard Box: 63,000 VC
- 10-Pack Deluxe Box: 84,375 VC
- 20-Pack Deluxe Box: 168,750 VC
