How to complete the NBA 2K20 Spotlight Jason Kidd Challenge

Gamers can head into the NBA 2K20 MyTeam mode. Using the top menu, go to “Single Player” and then choose “Challenges.” Navigate to the “Spotlight Challenges” and on the next screen, scroll over to the NBA 2K20 Spotlight Jason Kidd Challenge. It’s the latest installment following previous Spotlight Challenges for stars including Dwyane Wade, Kevin Garnett, Dirk Nowitzki, and Kareem Abdul-Jabbar.

It features a series of 17 separate games that you’ll need to complete one-by-one. The first of these is the “Kidd Intro Challenge” with a Rookie difficulty level. In that challenge, you have to defeat the current Brooklyn Nets team on the Rookie difficulty level. The quarters are set at three minutes each. By defeating this first challenge, you’ll earn an 86 overall Jason Kidd Sapphire card.

  9. Avoid the Sweep (Superstar) – 6 Tokens
  10. Kidd Traded Again (All-Star) – 1,500 MT
  11. Back to the Playoffs (Rookie) – Amethyst PJ Brown
  12. Triple-Double to Make the Finals (Rookie) – 1,800 MT
  13. Back-to-Back Playoffs (Superstar) – 1,875 MT
  14. Rewrite History: Finals (Superstar) – 2,000 MT
  15. Average Triple-Double (Superstar) – 2,500 MT
  16. Kidd Championship (Superstar) – 5,000 MT
  17. Spotlight Finale (Superstar) – 7,500 MT

As seen by the various rewards above, there’s a lot of MT, Tokens, and player cards to rack up. Upon completion of all 17 parts of the NBA 2K20 Spotlight Jason Kidd Challenge, gamers will receive the Pink Diamond Richard Jefferson card for their MyTeam.

Some of Jefferson’s top attributes include 97 Close Shot, 96 Driving Layup, 98 Driving Dunk, 93 Three-Point Shot, 95 Speed, and 92 Steal. The card also features 17 Hall of Fame Badges including Catch & Shoot, Corner Specialist, Tireless Shooter, and Pogo Stick.

Based on several YouTube video reviews, it’s a great free small forward to add to the lineup too. According to one YouTuber, Jefferson is able to dunk on just about everyone he goes up against.
