The witch is no longer flying over the courts in The Neighborhood as it’s time for a new season in the game. In a new reveal video on December 2, fans get to see the new NBA 2K20 The Neighborhood Winter theme. There’s holiday decorations, Christmas trees, powdery snow, and of course, Ronnie 2K the dancing Elf. Check it out in the video below which lasts just under 30 seconds.

A closer look at some of the new Neighborhood Winter theme details arrived in a YouTube video from gamer RedMamba. Here are a few screenshots from the video for a more detailed look at some of the concepts.

Gamers won’t find too much in the alleyways. However, there’s a bunch of things around the outdoors Park area. In particular, one of the new things that stands out is the huge decorated Christmas tree that has a number of wrapped gifts underneath it. RedMamba speculated that gamers may be able to open those around Christmastime.

Amongst the various holiday decorations is a recreation of Santa’s sleigh with reindeers in the classic Christmas red with a golden brown trim color scheme.

There’s also a new look for the MyCourt building in the neighborhood complete with a giant bow and ribbon on it, almost like a gift of some sort.

That building also has a special doorman, as an elf allows you inside the building. He doesn’t appear to give any sort of conversation, but it’s possible he could in the future. Gamers will probably be ballin’ a lot in that elf costume on the courts.

One other thing to note is that RedMamba indicated playing 2s on the newly-updated Winter theme seemed to work smoothly compared to how it was for the Halloween theme. So those who want to play Park 2s seem like they should be able to enjoy it more now.

The newest NBA 2K20 The Neighborhood theme replaces the Fall/Halloween theme from before. Overall it has that holiday feel to it, so it should put many people into the Christmas spirit. It also seems based on the various concepts that there just might be some interesting surprises on the way for The Neighborhood this Winter season.
