NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes Arrive With King James Challenge, Pantheon Packs Featuring Shaq and Kobe

The world of NBA 2K21 MyTeam continues to expand with brand new content arriving to celebrate the greatest players in the history of the game. Most recently, a new set of challenges and player cards arrived based on three of the all-time greats.

There are brand new Pantheon Packs headlined by Los Angeles Lakers greats Kobe Bryant and Shaquille O’Neal. In addition, LeBron James gets a new Spotlight Challenge fans can try to defeat. Here’s a look at each of these new pieces of content along with their free NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Codes.

What is the King James Spotlight Challenge?

One of the all-time greats, LeBron James, was featured in the NBA season-opening doubleheader a few days ago. He’ll be in the spotlight once again for Christmas Day as his Lakers host Luka Doncic and the Mavericks. Ahead of that December 25 game, fans can play a set of NBA 2K21 MyTeam challenges called King James Spotlight Challenge.

The series of objectives will let gamers play specific “iconic games” from King James’ career. Those include his 56-point double-double performance and his career-high game where he tallied 61 points.

Completing all of the challenges earns an Amethyst card of his former Cleveland Cavs teammate, Daniel Gibson. To get started, gamers can enter the locker code shown below: KING-JAMES-4-RINGS to get an 83 OVR LeBron to use in the objectives.

By completing the King James Spotlight Challenge and the four other Spotlight Challenges, gamers earn a Diamond Vlade Divac. That goes towards the set for the Baron Davis Galaxy Opal reward.

NBA 2K21 MyTeam Pantheon Packs, Locker Code arrive

A total of 12 new player cards are available in NBA 2K21 MyTeam courtesy of Pantheon Packs. Leading the way here are 96 overall Pink Diamond cards for the two former Lakers teammates. Kobe brings 89 Outside Scoring, 89 Athleticism, 86 Playmaking, and 86 Defense. Shaq gets 97 Rebounding, 93 Inside Scoring, and 89 Athleticism.

Joining them as potential random cards in the packs are Scottie Pippen, Chris Bosh, D’Angelo Russell, Kyrie Irving, and Dikembe Mutombo, among others. A quick trailer clip dropped on Christmas Eve morning showcasing the dynamic duo in 2K21.

The full listing of new cards is available at MTDB including their key attributes, Gold and Hall of Fame Badges, and more.

Gamers also received a free NBA 2K21 MyTeam Locker Code to use for these packs, as a nice Christmas gift. To redeem it, head into the Extras for the MyTeam menu and go to Locker Codes. Alternatively, use the NBA 2K21 mobile app on iOS or Android to enter the code away from the console game. The code as shown below is KOBE-SHAQ-PANTHEON-PACK.
